  1. Used the tether kill, "mystery motor failure" trick at Sandlake a few times in years past.  Word is they've caught on to that and wrote a friend of a friend a ticket for something like interfering with a police investigation or obstruction of justice for trying it.  FTW.

  2. I dealt with him just over a year ago on a stock tranny, neutral down shift drum mod.  Everything worked out fine with core refund and the shift drum works flawless.   In the meantime, I've heard he's taken being a complete shit bag to a whole new level.  People always ask when they get off my bike where they can get their drum modded.  I don't want to refer them to WCR if all this bad press is true.  Who else out there does a re-cut drum like he does?

  3. I've always had good luck with Jeff''s clutch kit with soft springs on my 88HP bike with lock-up. So is the dune/trail kit from Driveline what I'm actually buying from FAST?  Can you get that kit with OEM springs instead of the 20% stiffer ones?  Don't think I need stiffer with my setup.

  4. The porting is a touch more "aggressive" than a standard pump gas port. The domes and timing dictate the fuel requirements more than the porting.

My dad rides it and I figured a little more grunt would make it an easier ride for him to handle. So I run a little extra timing and 100LL. When I ran it on good premium pump , I backed down the timing some. But I prefer the setup on 100LL for no more than it costs over premium pump.

Smart.  I'm with you on the compression and timing.  Someone mentioned you had additional port work and I was just verifying it wasn't as cast.  Have you had it on a dyno?

  5. I have a +6 on my 10mil. I ran a fast clutch with heavy springs on the 4mil and it worked but I was eating up clutch plates pretty quick it seemed. I would go with lockup if I were you. Sprinklerman has a redline 4mil serval and I rode it at the dunes with my as cast 4mil. That redline serval was way way meaner than the as cast. It was a lot of fun. I would deff spend the money on some good port work

Is Sprinklerman's on race or did he stay with pump?

  6. I read somewhere that the Servals really like the drag pipes.  Someone did a bunch of dyno's with predominately mid range pipes to see if they could pick-up even more TQ.  From what I remember reading numbers actually went down. Maybe the builders out there can explain this. I think a lock-up would be pretty mandatory.  Cam's pump gas Servals are making 89HP with 50TQ.

  7. My concern with going any bigger than 421 is building too much motor for my chassis.  I primarily dune but at least a handful of times a year I hit up the local MX tracks on practice days.  I don't want to go any longer than the +4 setup I'm already running in the rear.  How far are you out on that 10mil?
