  1. Haven't done a compression test and yes the choke tube is on
  2. I'm sea leval with fmf gold series fattys , open lid air box, billet proflow air filter intake, tors removed, boost bottle
  3. i just put the stock carbs back on mu 01 banshee, how many turns out on the air screw to get it started? i couldent get it to start other than the rolling start then it was back firing on the ride, i just put 290mains and 27.5 pilots in it cause the 265 and 25 were a lil lean for the after market i have, i tried to post pics of the reeds cause they look dark to me and im not sure if that normal ? also i cleaned the carbs well when i jetted them.

Here is a picture of the reeds I have the one on the left is one of the two reads that are on the bike now those two look identical the one on the right is a reed that came separate I noticed that the two that are on the bike now are Farley dark and you can't see through them the one on the right looks kind a clear is that because some are aftermarket in some are stock or is it because the two that I had on there already are dirty I tried cleaning them with a few different cleaners and they still are dark is this normal?
  5. only problem is that the bike barley idles with the idle screw all the way in, when i turn it out it stalls
  6. Yea I think if I don't get it straightend out soon I'm just gonna throw the twins back on and sell the 2into1 kit
  7. It will shutter because the carb cleaner will bog it out if it gets sucked in threw the leak?

  11. just took it for a ride and it lacked power pretty bad, first and second gear dident feel bad but upwards of that did, i could hear the right side exhaust not always fireing,,,, some backfireing not sure what to do, what should my plug gap be? i put the 165 main and the 50 pilot in like i was told so im stumped?

Well I got it to idle but in order for me to do it I had to take this spring out that goes over the Idle screw so I can screw the idle screw all the way in ,with it all the way in this it's idles fine ,I'm roughly 2 turns out on the air screw and it's still smoking pretty good I took a video but I don't know how to post it ,am I going to hurt anything with that spring off in the idle screw all the way in? It's starts first kick I could probably start with my hand if I wanted to

I got it running it had nothing to do with the carb a freaking wire came loose under the key it started first kick I started it probably 5 times and starts first kick every time but it smokes like a bastard I don't remember it smoking this much with the stock carbs on it and it won't idle I'm not sure if that's air screw or idle screw what do you suggest?
  14. Thanks guys I don't know what I've done but I can't get it start now with a new carb on it I turned the air screw out 1.5 turns and the idle screw out to turns I tried for turns and just doesn't seem to want fire up?
  15. i just put a single pwk keihin carb on my 01 banshee, if the air screew and idle screw are turned all the way in how many turns out should each be for a good start? thanks guys

  17. what do i do about a air filter set up now that i have removed the 2 stock carbs and put on a single? do i just strap a filter to the carb or can i get a adapter for the air box ? cant seem to find one
  18. How can I tell what it has for a needle in it now? is there letters/numbers?

  21. im at sea leval, the carb is a pwk ,i think its 35 but it came extra with the bike so im not sure, the air intake is a pro flow billet and the intake hooked to the carb im not sure has no lettering on it also came extra with the bike, but its also billet
  22. Also can I run the bottle with the two into one carb set up because I had to take it off due to the two into one carb set up had no adapter for it

My 2001 Banshee has fMF Gold series exhaust with fatty pipes it has an open lid airbox Boost bottle stock carbs with 290 Main Jets and 25 pilots tors removed, pro-flow air intake ,not sure about the reeds ,I'm trying to figure out what I need to jet for the two into one carb set up I have the carb has 165 Main and 42 pilot is that a good start? I am at sea level
