There are track restrictions on type of cylinders per category that's why I was wanting to stay stock cyl

So they shave some off of the base? I would get is to sit at 0 deck height and just the the head cit for alky between .040 and .050Last one I put together was with 70 mm wsm pistons it sat .005 below deck with .020 base , a lot of the old 370 shit I have seen has been decked some on the bottom side cylinders

I wouldn't mind putting the time in myself but I sold my milling machine and don't know what else I could use to make it work besides cutting the cylinder apart and welding it back together I hear some just epoxy the front weather jackets and go about it that way

Head has already been cut I was just wondering if piston sits a little lower on 370 motors they use blaster piston and 115 rods

Blaster pistons...370 is stock stroke 115 rod...was wanting to use a .020 gasket but no gasket piston already sits .020 below deck.. With gasket it will sit .040 below and my squish will be like .090

Im putting together a 370 built for alky the piston seems to be .019-.020 below deck height at tdc and the head has about the same at the edge of the squish band I am using sodder about .070 thick and its barely touching when I rotate I've checked squish before but its not making sense i was also using a .020 base gasket but it wasn't even touching at .070 so I took it off and that's when I got it to touch the sodder any ideas?

I send you a message with picturesi have a set of very low hour t5's looking to trade for t6 pipes chrome must be perfect. the t5's i have are nearly new but do have one small dent int he bottom from the motor mounts.
may trade for other pipes but really only a set of perfect, pro circuit, shear, SLP, or sniper. prefer t6 tho
