yes that include me buying my red dot scope, cost about $400.00, that why I state above know what you building your AR15 for. because you can end up spending way more money then you thought, hell some range scopes cost $2000.00 easily. its almost worth buying a fully assembled AR15 for about $600-$800 then build one from scratch (For a beginner that is, Myself included). In my opinion you should start with a $600 AR15 and then build one you like and or upgrade only what you want to on your base AR15 over time.

Light + laser + long range scope... Ftw
because thats what i wanted on MY AR15, everyone is different, light for night use, laser same reason and long range scope for long range shooting, again i stated i also take this rifle to the range as well. all i stated above is know what your purpose is for your AR
-
fuckin rain, I hope I passes by tomorrow afternoon

what ever you do (depending on what your looking for) do not build an AR from the ground up, lol I did, I end up spending three times as much I guess cause if my mods, 223 Wyld upper (shoots both 223/5.56 ammo), M16 bolt, Anderson arms lower with parts kit, upgraded pistol grip, upgraded but stock, up graded buffer and spring, scope for long range, light, laser, ect fully loaded... and the labor to put everything together was not added to my overall price cause I put it together lol, (very Fun) and all I wanted it for was to take to the range and have fun lol I could have paid $600-$800 for a nice beginners AR15 and be done with it but now I have a AR15 in the near $2000.00 expert level for just the range lol. oh well,, what's done is done, so my advice is just look around and know what you will be using the gun for and shop around

I brought this ( Girsan MC1911SHC-C2 45ACP 5" sport w/ rail, chrome $450) and for almost half the price of the other high dollar brand, theirs no beating this gun, great feel, great shooting to weight ratio, very and I mean very accurate, easy to clean and did I say half the price of all these expensive ass guns mentioned above???
I buy a lot of guns and shoot a lot of guns and this 1911 was my first 1911 (because like you I wanted one) but not the first 1911 I have shot and hands down the owners of other 1911 (My friends) actually liked this gun better then their high dollar 1911, after telling them what I paid for this gun and them shooting nice groupings with this gun they where very surprised, read the reviews about this gun. you'll find them very helpful
