  4. Hey Banshee owners, I'm Cory Kennedy & I would like to take some time and tell you about myself, the story behind Kompulsive Concepts and why I'm here now. I have been interested in & riding sport quads for the last 12 years or so. I owned my first Banshee 10 years ago, a few years before I was old enough to drive and recently finished building an Asphalt Drag Banshee from the ground up. If you have done a complete restoration or pieced together a Banshee, you know there are plenty of parts available for your bike, but no one makes a new wiring harness except for Yamaha. They're new, but they're kinda pricey, along with the other 95% of the parts purchase for them. As my Banshee was getting close to being finished, I knew I would be needing a harness, but couldn't find a new one for under $123 or a "drag harness" that was ready to go....so, I ended up purchasing a used OEM harness from Motor City ATV for $70. I was pleased with my purchase and felt like I payed a fair price for my harness, but I wanted all of the useless wires cut off, so, I sent my harness to ************************ (Not gonna mention any names), I was charged $35 to have only the TORS removed. By then, not only did I have $105 invested in a harness I wasn't happy with, I still needed to cut some more wires off! During this time period, my Dad cut all of the unneeded wires off of his harness but wouldn't share any information with me on how to do it, so that was indirect motivation to figure out how to do it myself. After a little research and browsing through a few photos, I figured out what was needed and what wasn't. From that point I was buying, what others referred to as "junk harnesses" and turning them into "drag cut" harnesses that appeared fairly close to new. After cutting a few harnesses, reading about the Banshee electrical system, and a random idea pop into my head, I decided to search for the materials needed to make new harnesses and repaired used electrical components. To make a long story not so long, I have found the connectors and plugs needed to replicate Banshee harnesses, allowing me to make new wiring harnesses in a handful of various lengths. I have harnesses that range from $30-$90. So depending on what you purchase, you can now buy a harness that is twice as nice as an OEM harness and at half the price, with harness prices being very competitive with used harness you'll find else where. If you've made this far, thank you for spending some time to read about me and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I will be glad to answer any questions you have! - Cory Kennedy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Before & After. This is a 2GU-50 CDI box & harness. I didn't use round plugs (customer wanted cost efficient fix), so I used ends for 95-96 (3GG-10) on the CDI box and ends for 95-01 for the control switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I usually try not to write a book when I create a listing, but I do like to be very informative when describing my items/services, so here it is: I have new harnesses that I make myself - OEM length drag cut - These harness are the same length as an OEM harness, but have the only wires you need to make your Banshee run ~ CDI, Coil, Killswitch, and Stator. These harnesses have the same color wires as an OEM harness, but appearance slightly diifer, so I refer to them as an OEM replica harness that has been drag cut. These are available for all years 87-94 95-96 97-06. $75 shipped NEW Shortened Drag Harness & CDI Relocation Bracket - This is a brand new harness that measures 24 inches in length and is long enough to reach your killswitch & coil (mounted in OEM location) when connected to your CDI box (which needs to be relocated behind your gas tank or somewhere close by/ your stator needs to directly plug into your CDI Box). The wire colors match OEM colors but slightly differ in appearance, but are NEW. These are available for all years 87-94 95-96 97-06. $50 shipped | Harness only $40 shipped OEM Harness trimming - I cut off all of the unneeded wires, leaving you with the only 4 things required for spark & cut off - CDI,Coil,Killswitch, and Stator. I remove all of the dirty, greasy factory electrical tape and clean, cut, and re wrap your harness with new high temp electrical tape. I test fire my Banshee with every harness I have cut and will always do so before they are shipped back. I have not cut a harness yet and left the headlight wiring (paln on doing that soon, please check back). This can be done to any year harness 87-06 $25 return shipping included CDI/Harness Repair - I'm sure some of you have a harness that has a cracked connector and making you lose a little sleep at night, maybe not, I can replace your broken/cracked end for your stator or CDI Box for any year Banshee. I have not searched for ends for the keyswitch, lights, tors, etc, but I may have one lying around that I can replace for free if you're having a CDI or stator end repaired as well. Repair for CDI Box ends 2GU-50/51 3GG-00 3GG-10 - 1end $15 2ends $20 3+ends $25 return shipping included. I'll try to have detailed photos of everything described above, I'm having a hell of a time getting photos uploaded here (please enlighten me), if you do not see what you're looking for here, feel free to message me, and I'll be glad to give links to my Facebook page and/or my eBay listings. Feel free to call/text also 336 803 1602 Thanks - Cory Kennedy
