  1. thanks for responces guys I really appreciate it, can you just unplug the tors brain plug and thats all you have to do? dont have to worry about taking them completely out and then adding a idle screw? and I dont have a synch tool so should I just eyeball it? I already adjusted them cause one was a little off and they move at the same time and close at the same time. thanks again Jon
  2. I recently traded my snowmobile for a 99 banshee, it had been sitting for a while so I figured I would give it a go threw and try to get it running right. I put fresh gas in 32:1 mix yamalube, new plugs, cleaned the carbs pretty good did not have a screwdriver skinny enough to fit in the pilot jet so I just sprayed some carb cleaner in there. it usually starts second kick but then sometimes when you put the choke in it idles really high and sometimes it will run good on one cylinder and the other one puffs out smoke then dies. I checked the compression and there both around 120 cold cause I dident want it idling high for al ong time, so should be good there? I am just trying to figure out why it wont idle right, still has tors installed and I really dont have money for the delete kit right now wondering if that is the problem or if it just running lean, maybe pilot is clogged? has compression and spark stock motor with fmf fatty pipes and power core 2 silencers and k & n air filter, has 280 main jets and unsure of pilots cause couldent get at them and im pretty sure its at 3rd needle position with 1.5 turn on air screw and suggestions guys? thanks
