  1. Hey guys i just built my engine, got it running and noticed drips coming from a hairline crack above the shift shaft. The crack is very small but it still makes me very mad that i didnt notice this when i was putting the engine together! one of my buddies said to JB weld it ?? has anyone had any luck with this or is there a better product ?? or do i bite the bullet and do a tear down and new cases?? any help would be great!!
  2. no just the part of the fender over the wheels are removable. the main plastic stays around the tank.
  3. So I was going through the parts i got with my 2000 banshee today and i have a pair of front fenders that are removable. they look like oem ones but im not sure does anyone know if they made the fenders over the front wheels removable??? ive looked all over and cant find any info on them.
  4. I have a buddy that is a machinist and he wants to try it with mine does anyone have a picture of the inside with the quick cover off???
  5. Has anyone ever modified a stock clutch cover to make it possible to make clutch adjustments without removing the entire cover and if so is there pictures or info on it????
  6. I have 2000 banshee just rebuilt the motor, started it on saturday and the clutch is shot what is a reasonable clutch to install for mostly trail riding. motor is all stock except reeds and pipes. Also anyone selling a nice clutch lever and perch?? looking for a blue one??
  7. just picked up a basket case honda 480r thinking this might be my next project. Unless i decide to part it out because parts for it are really expensive. One of my buddies is a fabricator and wants to put the motor in a 400ex chassis?? well see where this ends up
  8. Thanks for the help guys. I think the olive oil guy is a bit retarded. The motor went in on this past sunday and i will be running it on saturday this week had to order carb bowl gaskets they will be in on wednesday this week, i'll let you guys know how it goes. im pretty excited!! I'll have a total of $900.00 in this thing when it is done. I think i did pretty good for rebuilding a stock banshee! the plastic and frame are in really great shape!! i'll post pics when it's together thanks again for the help!!
  9. I just finished putting my banshee motor together looking for tips on break in and what kind of oil do i run in the bottom end?? i've heard a bunch of different things from amsoil to 10w30 motor oil or trans fluid?? Looking for input??
