  1. Whats up everyone i had this problem just last month but I replaced my boots and spark plugs and it fixed my problem, but I pulled it out yesterday to let it warm up and it started and i gave it a lil gas then it just shut off and wouldnt start again, so i checked for spark and nothing i even pulled my boots off and checked the coil for ohms and it didnt pick up anything, do i need a new coil?

  4. Hey everyone im new to this board and just wanted to say my 1999 yamaha banshee was not getting spark and i figured out the problem, and if anyone else is having this problem i hope this works, well i had my banshee in my garage for about 2 months just taking a break and pulled it out 3 days ago to fire it up, i flushed the gas tank and had the carbs and reeds cleaned and it didnt fire up so i stripped the whole thing looking for my problem, and i was not getting spark to either coils so i unscrewed the boots that go over the spark plug and put my spark plug in the coil and thank god it got spark so i went up to malcom smiths and got some new ngk boots and spark plugs for 12 bucks and my banshee runs great . hope it helps
