  1. I would like one also but have moved from Texas to Doha, Qatar. My bike has not even made it here yet and won't be here for probably 3 more weeks. We have been here 2 weeks and just received our air shipment today. One good thing is that you can ship to my wife's Houston office and the will get it to us on their dime. I just set up another paypal account and should be active in a couple days. On a side note the dunes here are crazy, kinda like the rich locals. Rented a pos suzuki 250 but still managed to have some fun. Can't hardly wait for my bike to show up.+ I will be in touch in a couple days. Thanks, Wayne
  2. Looking for a good place to buy the front inner and outer tie rods. Trying to get some good ones that will last. Thanks. Wayne
  3. If your offerin I'm stickin. lol
  4. Yeah, thats kinda my thoughts too. Maybe thinking of some of the ones JD sells over at JDS Customs.
  5. thanks, went to that website, some real nice stuff. I was also looking at what JD sells over at JD Customs. He has some nice graphics also. Just trying to tie it together with the white carbon fiber plastics and a seat from Jeff.
  6. Bought new plastics, white carbon fiber and was wondering where would you suggest for a decent graphics kit.
  7. thanks for all the feedback
  8. tranny shipped to 77494 and pics to [email protected] please. Thanks Wayne
  9. Nice bike, have you done the dc conversion, just see a bunch of light up front there?
  10. Thanks, I have a case on its way to Jeff as I type for a 4mil and other goodies haven't decided on yet but anyway I would say my style is somewhat aggressive, just want to be able kick the ass end out at will. Haven't had the opportunity to dune this bike yet, trying to get it ready for a couple trouble free seasons overseas. Wayne
  11. I have searched and read what many have had to say concerning this topic. I think I am close to a decision, but really want to hear what some of you have to say, preferably the guys with +4's, +5's(if there is such a thing), and +6's. Want to hear all the advantages as well as the trade offs and disadvantages from those that have experienced them first hand. My bike will be a ridden on the dunes only with occasional hill climb or drag race, but primarily free range dune exploring but still want to retain some of the bikes handling characteristics. Any input will be appreciated. Wayne
  12. Tried to pm you but was a no go. Do you still have the tranny and is it complete and out of a working (all 6 gears) bike. Could you send a couple of pics to [email protected] please. Thanks Wayne
  13. May be interested in the stator and voltage regulator can you shoot me a pic to [email protected]. Only need to see the stator and its plug. Thanks Wayne
  14. Do you still have the voltage regulator?
  15. Thanks for responding. Do you ever get back to h-town?
  16. Wondering if there were any shee owners in my vicinity. If so check in.
  17. No actually I hadn't seen that but read through it. I tested the continuity of the lighting system and all was good. Thanks Wayne
  18. Yeah thats how I did it and they are installed. Shouldnt have to re-jet should I? Back to this electrical problem-- is there a place I can supply 12 volts to check the switch, I know for a fact rear tail light as well as both front low and high beams are working, just nothing when switch is turned on. I guess either way it will probably be the regulator or the stator.
  19. Thanks guys for the quick response. The clymers doesn't really give much to check in the way of the electrical system. I don't mind getting a new one but want to be sure that is the problem. Maybe I will look at the schematic more closely to see if I can check the switch also. I will cut the rubbers of the crossover tube pieces. Thought that was the way to do it but wanted to be sure. Thanks again Wayne
  20. I just have a couple of quick questions. I bought a shee pretty much stock, only modification was a set of FMF fatty's. Noticed the headlights would not come on so I checked the bulbs with meter and also hooked up my dewalt battery and they came on. So I ohm'd out the lighting section of the stator and it was .8 with my scale at 200 ohms, I know the banshee bible says it should be .26-.38 ohms. Question is would my ohm reading be enough to disable the lighting circuit. Sure would like to hear from some of the wise men before I slap down money for a stator if that is not the problem. Next question is I bought some V force 3's and was going to install them but they don't seem to wanna fit. Is there some more modification that is needed to the 2 pieces that the crossover tube fits in. Thanks Wayne
