  1. hey guys i dont even own a banshee (YET) but i just will have a few questions to ask before i can afford one. and my question of the day is how often do you have to change the air filter on this machine? for the healthiest running.

You clean and oil the filter you dont replace. I run an outerwear on my K&N that u take out and run under the sink. I would just clean and oil when it looks shitty or before a long ride theres no set time when it should be done.

  2. Yes I'm thinking of going to modquad single piece cool head and take off the two piece pro design

I would recommend Noss or Chariot. They are both good pieces of work. I have a pro design cool head on mine i dont think mines two peices though. Make sure all the o rings in the head are good then torque down the head correctly then see if it still does it.

  3. I still have my Oem stator as well that wasn't the problem the mechanic didn't know wtf he was doing or talking bout.

Id pull that ricky stator out and see if you can return it. They cause alot of problems and like bansheesandrider said some rickys dont even work right out of the box.

  4. With the cool head yeah you can pull the motor out pull the head off and pull the cylinders off. You will probably need to buy a new base gasket though as far as the cases i wouldnt rip them apart for just practice. Your best bet would to be have all the new parts next to u head out there early on a weekend take it all apart and watch what you do taking it apart pull out alll the stuff your replacing drop in the new and start re assembling. I would ask Kevin exactly what you will need for gaskets and seals. The motors are not complicated at all really.

  5. So i bought my banshee knowing it needed tires. The previous owner must of had 20psi in them when i brought it home in the morning i could notice two broken sets of cords. So i ordered some Holeshot HD's and pulled off the old Fast Trekkers to find that all of the cords on the sidewalls had been pulled off the side wall and some of them were broken in spots. I was a little surprised to say the least. Shitty pic but this is what the inside of the tire looked like.
