    here is a simple fact the banshee engine is as old school as it gets, 1987 or there abouts and basicly stayed old school all the way threw.

     

    i did not come in here and mention my trikes until kozy mentioned it, i simply said i wouldnt run my 2 smokes wfo for a mile. just my opinion.

     

    i also never mentioned sleds until special said you must have never rode one. yeah i refuse to spend 10,000 dollars and up for a new one.

     

    do i like old trucks, cars,bikes,and sleds for thier simplicity and they are easy to fix. absolutly.

     

    .the basic 2 smoke engine has remained the same since the 70s, with the changes really being fuel delivery, power valves. yada yada.

     

    Greene your post above was way out of line. really just a childish attack with a cover up of i would have a beer with you so it didnt appear that way.

     I will do you a huge favour greene as it appears my opinion and way of living bothers you enough to post a relpy like that.

    Cattle, look.. First off, Ive never met you, but I like you. I think your a straight up old feller who is stuck in his ways and is a guy that most people would like to meet and have a beer with. Including me. But NOBODY CARES (atleast I sure the fuck dont and Im gonna bet that SB doesnt either) We dont care about your 3 wheelers, we dont care about you ancient sleds, we dont care about a 30 year old truck that you think is the greatest thing ever, we dont care about your homestead backwoods life style, we flat ass dont give a shit. This is 2012 (nearly 2013) and as I see it you are an older gentleman trying to impress younger people. "Ive got 100 trikes" as I recall from a thread "Ive got (x) DS's" Ive got an ancient sled that is meaningless to 99.9% of the motherfuckers that roll this earth..... You have to understand who you are dealing with. Now while I also agree with staying out of debt is a better way to go thats not how these motherfuckers roll. We dont have paid off houses, we want and do drive late model shit, we don't ride 3 wheelers, we have 150+hp 2 stroke and 4 stroke sleds noot some twin track manta or air cooled junk triples. WE FLAT OUT DONT FUCKING CARE ABOUT YOUR RELIC ASS SHIT.... Do I think NICE older shit is cool? Fuck yeah I do. Ive got some "old" things that are in mint shape and I will hang onto for as long as I can because I like them and Ive got alot of time in making them that way. REALITY is that your 1892 440 sled isnt gonna go a mile wide open either which is where this shit started. Are there SOME 2 stroke that will roll a mile WOT yep. Do I think anyone is willing to make a vid and do it on here? NOPE... SB wasnt challenging you or stating he has a problem with you. You MIGHT think you have a grasp on sleds. And you MIGHT have in 1970. BUT this is 2013 and the shit has changed, and not that you are clueless you arent up with the shit thats rolling around these days.      KOZY even in the Baja 100 you are off and on the throttle,

     

    and the trikes you are talking about that raced there were far from stock including the cranks, if you want to talk about the history of trike racing lets open another thread.,

    Jst so happens i know a little bit about vintage race trikes and how they were set up.

    I Do agree that the site sponsers have paid to sell thier product and services here so even mentioning a price is touchy grounds,

     

    my only real point was the negative posts on what he is trying to do nothing more, so far mull/blowit has offered some sound advice and concerns on his methods to reach the goal of a good product

     

    truthfully i myself who races my banshee in a stock class at the drags would benifit from a stock head with a custom cut combustion chamber.

     

    i personally know of a stock cylinder 4mill engine in a stock j-arm frame that has ran 3.87 in 300ft built out of a little 1 bay garage and ported by a nobody as some would call him. good stuff can come out of a no name shop also.

    You boys kill me, evrytime a guy trys to start out from his garage or even shed you guys beat him down, its not possible, cant be done, blah blah blah,

     

    time to stfu,

     

    you know ho many nascar or nhra drag guys started out in a old barn or garage with a dirt floor? 100`s and they beat many of the big shops with thier backyard home built cars.

     

    how many privateer mx racers started from doing thier own work in some shit hole? tons. and they became national sponsered racers.

     

    Apparently you all have to much money or no inginuity on how to do stuff yourself,
