I know what jets are. Should I pull them out to see what size they are? Appreciate everyone's help. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but haven't had much experience in small motors.

Bike runs good. I got the banshee on a trade. As far as I know banshee is all stock other than the twist throttle. No mods done to it at all. To be honest I don't think there has been much maintanence done on it either based on what I had to go through to get swing arm bolt out. Bike does hesitate a little when I crack the throttle.

It is blowing out pretty steady and is all over the plastic.

All stock other than motion pro twist throttle. Not sure what size jets. Kinda new to banshees. I am assuming the jets are stock though. I live in Michigan so I am at a normal elevation.

40:1 r50

Black liquid coming out of my exhaust. So how do I fix it? Also could this be related to mt motor not idling ?

So how do I fix it. I'm running 40:1 r50. Is that to rich or is it the fuel air needle that needs to be adjusted.

Tried with a hacksaw. Didn't fit in there. Sawzall is a better idea.

Got the new pivot bolt and got her back together. Goes back together alot easier than it was to take it apart. now that that is done does anyone know why there is black liquid coming out of my exhaust.

You need to get a sawzall with a long blade and cut inbetween the dust cap and swing arm. I didn't get the abrasion from cutting. I was prying out the old bearing sleeve and a piece broke off. It has been killing me all week finally good enough just in time to go back to work.

So i finally started tearing down the banshee. Hopefully it will be done before the lake freezes over. Also got a new work box and a gopro hero 2 from the wife for xmas. has anyone else had a problem with a seized swing arm bolt. i had to cut mine out. and in the process ended up getting a corneal abrasion. Put the pivot works rebuild kit in and now i am just waiting on the bolt and my chain slider kit to come in. next project is to wet sand the plastics and get some of those scratches out. i finally posted a few pics.

Ii mostly ride on lake st Clair in the winter but plan on going to silver lake alot this summer. Planning on tearing apart my shee after Xmas. Just wanna go through the bike and replace any worn parts. Just looking for some tips on what to look for.

not really anything done yet other than bored .30 over. plan on extended swingarm, toomey exhaust and cleaning the other sets of white plastics i have up. gonna have the frame powdercoated matte white. damn this shit is expensive but so worth it.

really the only thing done is that it is bored .30 over. I just bought some holeshots for the rear. It has some plastics that are custom painted with flames but they are kinda ugly. i have the original plastics so i am gonna clean them up and paint. want to go with all white with black grill and gas tank cover. im gonna have the frame powdercoated flat white. I am new to banshees but im already obsessed.i will get some pics up in a bit.
