  1. my tors is completely removed and so is the parking switch now. i hav an eliminator kit on it. it still only idles. thinkin bout sending it to someone. i do hav an aftermarket stator on it. could the timing be off? i mean as soon as it gets a tad throttle it dies
  2. Ok so im trying to removing parking brake and switch. if i unplug it from the bike. i dnt have spark. bike wnt start. if i hav the bike idling and i press the switch in. it kills the bike. i hav a feeling this is a cause to my not revving issue
  3. yep i did that. k if i unplug the parking brake sensor it wont start. if i have it idling and i push the sensor button in. it kills the bike. im lost.
  4. i removed the tors on my bike and cut the wires and made sure they werent shorting. i removed the parking brake cable and wondering bout the switch. my bike will only idle. if its reved at all it dies. like a limiter is kickin in and killin my spark. please anyone
  5. no i removed the tors as well. n pretty possitive its the only 2 wire connector on the clutch perch. my bike will idle but will not rev at all. it dies if u barely touch the throttle. like im losing spark or sumpn.
  6. i removed the tors. all i have to do is unplug everything correct? and wat do i need to do for parking brake switch removal. could that also cause the no throttle issue?
  7. ok so i want to remove the parking brake and switch on an 02 banshee. im running into a problem. if i unplug the switch i cant start it. or if its idling and i unplug it it will die. any thoughts on this?
  8. ok so im pretty sure the choke on the carb is inop. i can never start the bike using it. it will start and idle but not rev. if the bike is idling and i pull the choke on it kills it. the choke crossover tube is in place. i pulled the choke out and the oring looks good on the end. any thoughts?
  9. k i put 270s in it last nite along with 27.5 pilots. still doin the same thing. if i slowly touch the throttle it might come and 1/8 into it but then it shuts off. almost like im losing spark maybe?

  12. im at bout 1050 ft above sea level. and the tors is completely removed so that cant be it. i kno it has to be fuel starvin...after i posted last nite i went and checked the carbs again and the bowls are full of fuel. lemme kno on jetting. been working on it for 3 months and its gettin to me haha.

OK so the bike idles fine. only mods is pipes. cleaned the carbs a million times, checkd the fuel line in the gas cap. the jets are 200 and 25. carbs are set to correct adjustment. the tors is removed and also the parkling brake. im in iowa. so i figured the jetts should be fine. no air leak noticed. correct gap on pick up coil. the stator is aftermaket so im wondering if the timing could be off. after i hit the throttle it dies. then it is kinda hard to start but will start again. im on my last leg with this thing. kinda nerve racking. any help would be awesome.
  14. yes the key is in. the pistons are in correctly. the tors is removed and unpluggd. coil gap is correct. carbs are adjusted correctly all jets are correct. compression is at 120 psi. choke tube is in place. i mean this thing will start up and idle fine. if i touch the throttle it will die. then its a little hard to start. but it will sit there and idle as long as it wants. i did remove the parking brake cable. do i need to ground something? it has spark so i figured everythin is good to go.
  15. just unplugg. i have heard that i should have to jump some wires together?
  16. OK i gt the eliminator hooked up. is there any wires that needed to be wired together. say off the throttle switch?
  17. Ok ill have to check that then. What is the purpose of the BB any ways? Um i would say that it doesnt run very good with the choke on. the mains are 200 and the pilot is 25. and as far as the idle screws. screw them in all the way and how far do i back them out? i turnd the pilot mixture screws 2 turns out.
  18. ok the slides were in wrong thats why i finally gt the damn thing to idle. k so air gap is correct. the slides are in correct now. choke crossover tube in place. What is this little "BB" you are talking about? i flipped the carbs over and couldnt see anything. I removed the air box thinkn maybe i had an air restriction to the carbs but it still dies after i touch the throttle. and yes the TORS is removed. was i spose to cross 2 wires or sumpn? hopefully this answers all your questions. seriously when this thing is runnin im havn a party!
  19. ok i gt it idleing and almost a start every kick. now as soon as a bap the throttle it dies. cant get it past idle? where do i go from here?
  20. im pretty positive everything is good. sometimes it feels easier to kick than others. i do hav after market stator. could the timeing be off. the stock stator was completely rusted. im not ofr sure if its on the correct marks. is there marks on the case for me to line up
  21. K got the banshee in pieces. its back together. having trouble starting it. just kick and kick and kick. its poppin alot. sometimes it will start but only run for about 5 secs then it dies. any thoughts?
  22. Wow there is 340 in mine right now. is that a huge difference? and the only slight mods is i put a set of fmf pipes on it. otherwise all stock
  23. was wondering what the stock jetting for stock carbs at 1050 ft. was?
