jd.. i know cases suck and the life proof case is a PAIN at times... but it has yet to fail me.. I change the case once a year just to be safe and ive been happy with it.
Ive dropped my cell in puddles of water by accident. got pushed into a pool and it feel into the bottom. ive grinded down tuns of things in the garage ect. (not half as much as you but yea) i have it out in -30 deg weather and the case has yet to fail me.
One thing I do notice is the micro fiber speaker holes on the case have to be cleaned out if they get blocked up with debris but do withstand pretty well anything in limited amounts.

I buy mine from Ebay.. i just make sure their the real deal and not a knock off.. still expensive but the best case out I find if you are in dirty conditions all day.
on a side note.. my friends have a few different smart phones.. of which none seem to last them. 1 guy is in trenche's all day doing drainage. they start to freeze, screens crack start throwing fits etc... so far IMO Iphones have been a bit more solid.
I wouldnt recommend the 5 though considering it looks more fragile. going on 2.5 years with my iphone and it is still flawless been using the life proof case since day 1. from ice fishing to summer crap...
Lifeproof is awesome.

Im going to do the same.......just curious as to how these are going to work. They sure sound great in the promotional video but way too much money for me. My stock carbs are doing just fine.

St. Claire, Moscow, Treverton (all in PA). Ive been to treverton which was a blast but not the others. I know people who ride at the other spots and they love it.

I dont see the issue, just looks like the vent hoses are touching.

Lost trails is no place for a banshee. Especially a fast banshee. Be sure to have a rear skid plate or you'll be sorry. Also, lower gearing would be ideal. I will never go there again. You may like it though, everyone is different.

Similar thing was happening to VoOK he other day with brand new VF4's. 1 side was smoking more, he went nuts trying to figure out why, thought it was the carbs, electrical etc. When he swapped the left reed to the right the problem followed and there is no visible damage to the reeds except that one of them seems harder to bent. Moto Tassinari is sending him a new one for free. Check the reeds lol
True story.

tell him he can screw in the tester himself than. Bring it with you regardless of what he says and be stern about doing a test
^ Agreed

Check your reeds too

I had a similar issue, turned out one of the reed cages was bad. I thought it was a carb issue until I swapped reed cages and the problem followed to the other cyclinder.
