awesome thanks guys so i got 'er cleaned up yesterday and my buddy came over with his banshee today and we went rippin. i love these pipes. so much louder then the fmfs on my buddys. stupid government people shut us down cause we "were riding on private property" haters!

ya i have been super busy with work and school. i have thursay friday off so im cleaning it up then.

ok heres a pic of the head and pipes. i still ahvent had time to cleam it up yet so its a bit dirty buy u can still see.

I will put up some pics when I get home from work. Also when I said crankcase oil I ment the gear oil or transmission oil. What ever u want to call it. Awesome so u can tell they are the r2 pipes? Sick, well then I got a good deal for 2000. Tomorrow I will pick up some coolant oil and premix oil as everything is closed today. Thanks guys!

anybody know where to look to see if they are vin numbers or logos or anything on rocket pipes? also is there any specific kind of coolant i should use? or specific crank case oil?

i was thinking the same thing when i went and looked at it. but im not and expert so i wasnt sure. what do u mean i cant go off color?

i thought they looked stock. but im also new so.. i was thinking of taking them off and re painting them with header paint or something, so if i do that ill look for vin numbers or a compay logo or something

well as far as i know no it hasnt been rebuilt. but i tok it out for a ride friday and all seems fine. its pretty much all stock for now. also interested in best first mod to do? probably pipes right?

thanks! yes i have the dual k&ns with no airbox. no it has stock pipes for now, but im looking into buying some fmfs or tumeys. the only other mod really is the white brothers boost bottle. the rest is all just looks. and ok how do i post pics?

thanks for the reply! as far as he oils go ya i was referring to crank case oild and anyother oil i might need to ad. the guy i bought it off of said he used synthetic 2 stroke oil and ran it at 44:1. that seems a bit lean to me..

hey im new to the banshee world, and the forum, and i was just curious of what the first maintenene things are i should do to my banshee before use. i have already replaced the plugs and cleaned the K&N's. but i was curious as to what oils i should get to put in, (ex. i checked the coolant bottle under my seat and it looked pretty low. so i should obviously get some of that, any suggestions on brand etc?) also any other oils/ bushings or whatever i should do to make sure its in goo running order. thanks!
