  1. I have fatty's and bought turbine core 2's this weekend. i couldn't tell a difference in power from the powercore's that were on it so i say there good but i'm no expert. there legal tho. keeps even the biggest P.I.T.A. rangers off your back
  2. off topic, but neato is a nifty word.. I have a fly racing f2 helmet, its not too bad
  3. holey jeez!!!! you see guys, banshees are an investment......
  4. yeah i just repacked the original power cores, and it did make a difference. i'm kinda kicki'n myself, cuz i bought the turbinne core's about 2 weeks later, coulda saved myself 20 bux (an extra case of beer is always welcome). The reason for that change is the fact i wanna do trail riding around my pad and i see rangers all the time. sometimes there cool, sometimes not s much. just tryin to stay within the law. tahnks for the reply. ill wait and see.
  5. Yeah i have seen that kit, havent seen directions, but i didn't think about taking a peek at them either. time to track thoes down i guess. thanks for the idea..
  6. Hey guys, I ordered a set of turbinecore II Q, and i was wondering if my jetting would change drastically from the 15 year old powercores i have now? im still running fmf fattys and this would be the only change to the engine. also i kno its a spark arrested silencer (why i ordered it), and its the spiral core desighn, but is it a silencer that also gets re packed?? thanks in advance... and btw.. i know you guys are dying to see another white banshee...lol. im trying to figure the pic thing out still.
  7. now this is one comprehensive dyno chart!!!!!!
  8. a quick question, i have a j arm frame, and i've been kickin' around the idea of doing this for some time. is the front top mount in the same location as a a arm frame? would i just have to weld a seccond tab beind it? i know i have to weld new mounts for the rear of the arm, but i don't want suspension geometry to be outta wack. does anyone have experience with this swap on a j arm frame?
  9. dont cut em up till you wreck em! or keep an eye out on cl, the have cut ones from time to time for about 50 bux. to each his own, etherr way it still looks cool imo.
  10. ok, that about covers all the bases. when you say 50:1 is too little for comfort, i had the same opinion, but i also don't know any better. i read about changing ratios, and while it made sence i wasnt sure if it would matter. basically the more pre mix you run, the less fuel there would be , would i have to change jetting if i went to 40:1? like i said im not after the last horsepower, i just want it to last....and i agree, fun as hell to fix...one hell of a machine.
  11. hey, iv been floatin around your site for a few weeks now, so i guess its time to get aquainted with some good ol banshee lovin' folks. ive got a 90 banshee just resently, and im going to take it out to pismo labor day weekend. it has been sittin for about a year, but fires right up and seems to run good. i have not rode it far, just around the yard, and it has good power. my question is , what do i need to inspect for my safety and the bikes longevity? also, its the first 2 stroke ive owned. i know oil to fuel ratio is important, but ive heard drastic differences in pre mix, i was told to run 50:1 in this, but a couple of buddies run their toys at 32:1. what gives?? any and all replys are appreciated....thanks in advance. i hope this is in the right forum
