  1. what model is your banshee??

  2. Anyone here using the Clark or IMS large capacity tanks? Most of my riding will be on logging roads and I would like to increase the range of my Banshee. Looking for opinions on the large tanks.
  3. I have a tail light from a Yamaha FX Nytro sled that I'm planning to mount. Previous owner removed the tail light completely. Just need to fab up a mounting bracket.
  4. How does the Clymer manual compare to the Yamaha manual.
  5. You really need to do some readiing about the Banshee and 2-strokes in general. A service manual is your friend. Find someone local who is familair with the Banshee. If not get the book. Please don't take this the wrong way but......the is no such thing as a "Power band" in a bike or any 2-stroke. All that is happening when the bike seems to "kick in" is that the engine is coming on the pipe and the bike is in its power band or the area in which the engine is running at its optimum performance. I'm sure someone can explain it better than me. These 350 engines are great when they are running at their best. Get to know it and you will be a very happy camper.
  6. Cool thanks.
  7. This may be a stupid question but are all Jets the same or do I need to buy them specifically for the bike. Pretty sure I know the answer but 15 years of 4-strokes has made me dumb.
  8. Well I've had mine now for 3 days and I'm in love all over again. The bike is an 08 with very little use. Its completely stock except for the FMF SSTs and silencers. The previous owner installed the pipes but didn't change the jets at all. Ive checked the plugs and they don't seem too bad. I run mostly at sea level or a few hundred feet above. Where should I start with it? I jetted my old RD350LC years ago but my memory is not so good.
  9. Cool thanks. I'll do that when I get the bike this week and have a lot more pics to get up.
  10. Hey just joined the forum today. Later this week I'm picking up a like new 08 Banshee. I had an RD350 bike years ago and loved the sound of the that 2-stroke. Been wanting a Banshee for years. Just decided to get rid of my sled and stick with wheeled toys. Not enough snow around here to use a sled. As far as I know this banshee has been babied. Only mods are a set of FMF pipes. Can't wait to get it. I attached a few pics I got from the current owner. Will post more when I get it home. ONly managed to attach one pic. How do I add larger pics to a post? Added them to a photo album in here for now. Craig
