  1. SO, Apparently someone took this the wrong way and made it sound like i am bad mouthing C&M... First of all!!! C&M will be the only one working on my bike until it rusts out and cant ride it anymore. Second!! i see the way the post looks and can maybe see why that person made a comment.... i was trying to say that when I got the motor rebuilt, it did not help my starting issue (wich i had BEFORE i took it to C&M) but its not C&M's fault because I did not have C&M even look at the carbs. I appologize if there was any miscommunications, I would refer C&M to anybody and like i said, he will be the only one turning wrenches on my bike!!
  2. That sounds like a damn good idea....... one problem though..... who is going to bail me outta jail? LOL
  3. HOLY SHIT!!!! that JDS site has some really bad ass stuff on there... im gonna go home and beg the wife like a litlle kid until she gets tired of hearing me and she just says ok, to letting me send my plastics to JDS. thanks again everyone, I really appreciate the help.
  4. Thanks alot man, iill check em out.
  5. im new to the banshee world... who or what is JDS?
  6. Looking for airbrushed in skulls with flames coming off their head but I can't even draw a damn stick figure so, there is no way that I am going to start a project like this myself. I just rather spend the money and have someone do it. Thanks for all the good replies so far though guys.
  7. I do not trail ride. If I could upload a picture, I would.... this paint job must be professional. The bike is magnificent.
  8. I don't know. Just wanting a rough estimate price and location.
  9. I live in Olympia Washington and I am looking for a good shop to get my plastics painted at. Any ideas?
  10. I know how you feel man, I was in the same predicament a while ago and I myself am a newbie to banshees but one of these guys told me on here to take the bowl off and re adjust the float= problem fixed and runs like a topp! its also alot easier if you have a micrometer.
  11. jugs?? I am new to banshees and wrenching on them.
  12. Yes there is a tube going between the carbs. I dont know if it was pressure tested. can I do that myself?
  13. So, I just had the top end rebuilt by C&M Custom banshee in enumclaw wa and my bike will not start on the first kick anymore. I used to pride myself on watching my bike start on 1 kick. Now I have to pull the left air cleaner off and put my hand over the hole and kick it to get it to start. what do you think it might be and whats the easiest way to fix the problem?
  14. Well.... shee runs again!!!! I took the left carb off and took the bottom off, I then took the floats off as well as the plunger. sprayed everything down with carb cleaner very well and before putting the floats back on, there is a little tab that the plunger attaches to. I took that little tab and bent it very little upwards towards the carb so that the plunger would close for certain. i then put it all back together, pulled the cover back off of my flywheel and adjusted my pickup coil to a buisness card gap and then put it back together and it started right up and tears ass!! thanks alot to all of you guys on here for helping me. im starting to learn a little about working on shee's.
  15. well..... got the new stator in yesterday. put it in and put the cover back on, turned the fuel on and all of a sudden my left carb is pouring fuel out of the bottom hose on the bowl. im not very knowledgable on carbs but I took it aprt and the floats seemed to be working fine. I ordered a clymens manual yesterday and I guess I will wait for it to come in so that I can troubleshoot a little more. Also like a dumbass I did not check the gap on my pickup coil before I put the cover back on. any suggestions on the carb leak and does anybody know the easiest way to get the gap right on the pickup coil? thanks again everybody.
