  1. Have a set of 2001 660 white shocks that have been of my Raptor for a while now which were replaced with 450s. Great condition $60 shipped... Measures 15.5" hole to hole
  2. I have a MSR shorty ez pull clutch lever but the aluminum adjustment screw is pretty much stripped from adjusting. I can't find anywhere where to buy a replacement or any generic one/ stock one. I believe alot are the same size/pitch possibly? They have to be out there somewhere.. I shouldn't have to buy a new setup. I purchased it from rockymountain. Also what does it mean on RM when it says "motorcycle only" for some of these clutch levers? Can I use any of them b/c I think this one maybe one of them, but it works great
  3. Once I have it apart and good access to the shaft the rod is in am i gonna cut one end of the rod clean to slide it through if it wont slide out either way? Any parts I should replace while in there.. Gaskets?
  4. I have play in the rod and it's spins all around just can't get it past the shaft where the clutch return lever is. It must be shroomed so slightly b/c there was some damage on the return lever. Thats why it's so frustrating.. So close but so far and I was looking for any other ideas. There was basically nothing left of the bearing just flattened metal on the adjust screw. And ill be ordering the pancake bearing along with other parts from f.a.s.t.
  5. I've searched and read quite a bit on this topic. So far i removed everything but the rod which moves back and forth slightly when i look down the clutch release lever hole. It may have a small bur preventing it but doesn't look too bad. So, any new alternatives to getting the rod out minus splitting the case (the ball welded to the set screw which i pulled out not the rod)? If i must pull the motor and split the case I read somewhere to flip it over and just take the bottom end off? I have a manual that breaks everything down, but im asking for any easier advise or walk throughs out there, less stuff off the better.
  6. bump... PMd you
  7. PM full. what type of thumb throttle are you rocking, is it for sale and can you tell a better difference ? I dont need the cable, I have a 2 into 1
  8. I use the Honda shops premix on my 87 shee at 32:1 I have some amsoil interceptor i have not used yet and was wondering your opinions. Also, on the back it says use as a 50:1 premix. Should I stick to that? Does that mean everyone out there should use it as a 50:1 and is it not good to mix this with a half tank of my other stuff.
  9. makes sence... thanks for the help. ill replace the hubs
  10. Im in the dark on this. I have an 87 and my gf has an 89 she just bought the same rear lightweight wheel and tire paddles as me but we just realized here rear hubs are bigger than mine and the wheels do not fit... A front wheel will fit but the hubs look different. I dont know the history of hers so not sure what is going on here. any ideas? just buy new rear hubs?
  11. After riding this weekend my aluminum rear sprocket wore considerably and needs to be replaced. The bottom chain guide was at a slight angle putting pressure against the chain and then onto the soft sprocket. So now I need a new one. I know the rule to switch all three at the same time, but since the rear got worn out in a day from my problem is it still necessary to change all three? I can go count the chain but does anybody know off hand what a +4 swingarm takes? I have an 87 with a 13/40 setup and will probably switch to 42t steel in the rear now. And also any suggestions where to get these; just the rear or a whole kit?
  12. Thanks. Ive considered the lines but they feel good and don't bulge to the naked eye at least. Just wasn't sure if the fluid leaking out could cause a slight problem while bleeding. But I will keep working them and maybe Teflon the fitting. I was able to lock the wheels up on dirt if I press hard so maybe that should be good enough.
  13. Hey I have a pre 90s shee and just rebuilt my front master cylinder brakes and used a syringe to force bleed the air out. The brakes aren't good as they should be still. Decent but the lever is still a little weak. I wanted to replace one of the bleed nipples because when I loosen to bleed.. A little fluid drip from the base only problem is I don't know what size it is. 7x1.0mm maybe? Can't take it of because it's full of fluid once again. Any one know or could autozone possibly carry this banshees size instead of going through Yamaha. Thanks in advance!
