Finally found my problem, ignition coil was showing extremely high resistance, and found one of the plug caps was the problem. I got that taken care of and the quad runs better now than it ever has. I want to thank everyone for your input on the problem.

ok, just finished going through the carbs and found the pilot jet was a bit plugged on both, looks much better now. Also drained the gas again and checked the petcock and it was clear. I don't have a vacuum sync tool that will work with the banshee, so I did it how the video you shared shows. It now idles great and revs fine, but as soon as you try to go anywhere the motor bogs down instantly and stalls easily. Any ideas?

OK, I just did a leakdown test and lost less than 1 PSI over the 6 minutes. I also did a compression check and cylinder 1 came in at 118 and 2 came in at 120 so my problems are probably my carbs. I am going to pick up a can of carb cleaner and soak them both for a few. I did check the bowls and slides and they were on the correct carbs. They were synced almost dead on as well. Thank you guys for all the items to check, I will let you know what happens after cleaning the carbs and getting it back together again.

Thanks for all the replies. I did clean the carbs really well, but I am not positive I have the slides in the right carbs I will have to check that real quick. I did pull the reeds out, but used new gaskets when reinstalling them. I will double check for leaks but I am pretty sure that I got them sealed well. I didn't start it when I pulled it out, as it did run ok last year but needed the carbs cleaned, so I didn't even try to start it. I had drained the fuel last year and put fresh in this year so that should be good. Choke crossover is on, and the air filter is clean and lightly oiled. I will check to make sure I have the slides in the right carbs and the bowls are on the right carbs. Honestly I didn't realize the slides were side specific so there is a decent chance thats my problem. I will let you all know what I find.

I have a 2000 Banshee with FMF pipes andotherwise stock. It ran fine last year, but I pulled it out to get it ready for the riding season and cleaned the carbs and checked my reeds. Once I put it all together it doesn't like to run. At first it would start and idle but wanted to stall once you tried going, once I got the revs up it just pulled really hard though. I made sure the carbs were synced and tried to start it again. It now doesn't like to start then only runs for about 5 seconds then stalls. It then won't start back up for a couple minutes. I have checked to make sure there is fuel flow going in to the carbs and the fuel level doesn't drop off when it is running. I am not sure where to look from here I was hoping to get some ideas. I appreciate any ideas you guys might have.
