Alright here goes I finally got my baby back 97 banshee after $850 for a complete rebuild top and bottom including labor and a free set of renthal grips yay!!!! So i'm ready for suspension and i wanna go wider however i'm a baller on a budget so i was thinking of getting factory yfz shocks and those full flight racing long travel extended a-arms the arms are $300 shocks $130 on cL what do you guys think? I've seen people with this set up but not with full flights, i also am gonna get a g-force axle +2 for $156. Has anybody run this set-up? if so hows the ride? or should i just save money and wait which we all can't wait lol , should i just put on my axle for now??????? :confused: help....me out fellas!!!!

Thats what i thought when i was shopping around for prices until i went on the forum which i thank EVERYBODY on here for your advice. Like i said before i am gonna use HJR in the near future i've read alot of reviews so i'm sold, however my shees getting rebuild now VIA my girl she wanted to surprise me but when i found out about HJR it was too late..... i'm glad $850 is a good price the guy at PBR is a buddy of my dads

The shop my girl took it to is called PBP in national city, before i signed up for this forum $850 was actually the best deal i was holding off to pay $850 after getting info from you but my girl wanted to surprise me so her and her friend took it to PBP start the rebuild i did mark everything with my initials thou and will be ready this FRI. Something is wrong that my girl isn't telling me i"ll find out tomorrow. so where do you ride at up by your area? besides Glamis or Superstition

OH WELL i guess ima use HJR next time damn bummer i knew i should of got an account earlier on here.. would love the have bragging rights next season. but like i said i dont really race but would like to spank my boys hard ill post pics up when done

Nice how much did u spend? so you did have to send your motor out? how long was the turn around.

hey Matt good looking out on the info...and ya i'm in San Diego those prices you found are hella cheap!!! My shee ran fine before no problems at all except for the normal kickstart rattle common noise easy o-ring fix but ya better safe than sorry and my crank was bad had a hairline crack so just gonna go with a new one i'm in the Chula vista area in sd so i went local u know. so top and bottom with a new crank $850

Hey peoples i'm new to this forum wanted so say what up to all my BANSHEE LOVERS!!! I have a 97 banshee and decided to finally do a rebuild however alot of my buddies and on forums go all out on rebuilds like, crazy pistons, cooling head, carbs .......etc and the list goes on. One of my buddies had his bored over twice and always having to spend all kinds of cash to later find out something else goes wrong. So that's why i guess i decided to rebuild mines to stock top and bottom new crank thats it and since I aint gonna lie don't do my own work so I took her to a shop and they quoted me $850!!!! for labor and re-bore is that a good price?? I'm not much a racer or do crazy 20ft jumps but i do ride hard and love my powerband i've spanked 660's and other shees that were waaaay modded guess depends on the rider, and all i have are pipes go figure.... So let me know fellas what you think of me just doing her all up stock and lubricated
