  1. First off what would happen if you didn't put the choke crossover tube back on when you pulled the carbs off?? Would the right cylinder run crazy lean? I am running pro circuit Platinum head pipes with 304 ss tail pipes. 260 main jets, clip on middle groove on the stock needle and stock pilot jet per Pro Circuits recommendations. Gas is mixed 32:1 and using maxima 2 cycle oil. I am at 400-500 feet elevations and very humid Southern Indiana weather. Oh and the T.O.R.S. is still hooked up on this bike. I recently rebuilt the top end of a 2000 Yamaha Banshee and was having hard start issues. It didn't seem like it wanted to spark every time I kicked it. I checked the pickup coil, ignition coil and the source coil and everything checked out ok. I checked compression and it was right at 90 psi on the new topend (120 psi now since I had it run for about 5 minutes). I figured it probably just hadn't sealed the rings up yet so I pull started it and it fired up. I would have to hold on the throttle just a little to keep it running it seemed like every time I would let off it would just die. If the switch was bad in the throttle control would it make it die like that? It almost seems when that is pressed in when the thumb throttle is released it wants to kill it so my next step is to remove it from the housing to ensure it isn't being pressed. Or am I looking in the wrong place? After I got it running by pull starting it. The thing was shooting fire out the exhaust pipes. More so on the right side then the left and I think this might be because I forgot to put the choke crossover tube back in. I just thought of that this morning when I was trying to run threw my head what all I had done. This is what I am thinking about doing and need you alls advice to tell me if I am headed in the right direction. Move the needle up (clip in lower position) 1 place. Use a 280 Main Jet Put choke crossover tube in Remove the throttle switch to see if that eliminates it from dieing when throttle is released Anything else I need to check or look at??? I need help please!!!
  2. Email sent on ignition coil.
  3. You can download from clymers???
  4. Any one have a downloadable or know where to find a downloadable manual for a Banshee? Just pick my first one up yesterday and the carbs need to be cleaned it has been sitting a while and want to make sure I get it right. Thanks in advance.
