  1. Ya it's a blast. They hold it on New Year's Day every year and get a HUGE turnout. There are rules but quite simple as its not a points race of any kind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. ya it was a big cluster for sure. This year I am taking the left side start to avoid tht mess. I ended up 14th in class and 17th over-all out of 77 quads. ya I made sure to keep the cam clean when I had a chance. It was a blast!
  3. I know this is a pretty old post but its been a while since I have been on here. Here is some helmet cam footage from the Hangover Scramble on New Years Day 2012. I took 14th in class and 17 over-all on the banshee out of 77 total quads.
  4. ya I was quite beat up. I just need to get in better shape and get the front suspension of the bike built. Here is lap 1 from my helmet cam.
  5. yes there was mostly 4 strokes out there. My cousin and I had our Banshee's and there were 2 others riding Banshee's. There were a couple 250R's and the rest were all 4 strokes. I got 7 laps in 60 minutes on a roughly 4 mile course. We had a blast and I realized how out of shape I really am. lol
  6. and some video from my rear GoPro on lap 1 of the race.
  7. Here is mine New Years Day after the Hangover Scramble race @ Washougal MX Park. Its a 2000 with trail port, vforce 2's, FMF fatty's, +4 timing, lightened flywheel, UNI filter, and some other things I am forgetting. It does pretty well until the airbox gets water in it. I finished 14th in class and 17th overall out of 67 quads at the race New Years Day and that was after a very poor start.
  8. I wont run my pod filters anywhere but the dunes... any water gets on them and the carbs stick, k&n filters SUCK in the dezert (even with outerwears), and the damn things get dirty way too fast. I finally went back to the stock airbox and UNI filter and could not be happier. I will still use my pods if going to the dunes for a weekend.
  9. Go with the Lone Star arms and never look back! --- - Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
