Just bougt a 2001 banshee , has been sitting for a few years . The bike was stock and the previous owner said it had no spark even after going through it and replacing the cdi, stator and a few other things. So i asked a few questions and he said he put a ricky stator in it and i thought hmm. The stator actually tested out ok so i was a little stumped , but i bought a 2006 OEM stator anyway and sure shit she came to life. But any way i piped it with fattys and used a 280 main jet bought a 27.5 pilot that doesnt fit so left the 25s in , Im running the needle in the 4th clip also. It starts and idles great , plugs have a deep brown color but she sputters down low before the power band , when the pipes start singing she goes like hell though . Any ideas like maybe the needle shoud go back to middle? or would the pilots be running to lean ? just wanted to ask peps maybe they had this issue and could reply with a bit of help .. thx
