Lol, that's interesting, first time I've ever heard someone put down JetCat. Even around the local turbine fields, nobody recommends WREN engines, and they won't even talk about them lol. I've bee flying/driving/boating for 11 years, in the hobby for 13, too much fun, I need less hobbies lol.

IMO, if you're looking for a great all around rider, then get a YFZ450, or really any of the 450's from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, ect. The 450's are always great all around riders, whether it be trails, track or dunes. If it were me though, I'd buy a banshee. There is NO feeling like a 2 stroke ripping wide open in the mornings

Here is what I do when selling a bike: 1. BRING MULTIPLE PEOPLE, I always go with my buddy. 2. Ask for I.D., such as a license or green card, if they want to test ride. 3. Only fill the tank with about 2/5 gallon of gas (or just enough for a few minutes of run time), so if they decide to run, they won't get far. Foolproof

You DO realize that the turbine unit alone will cost you around $4500 for a Jet Cat turbine engine which will need to be converted to a shaft engine to turn a propeller (which will cost you close to double), which doesn't include the price of electronics, support equipment, or really anything, just the turbine unit alone. Total everything up and you're looking at $10-$12k for that boat, and with an inexperienced driver, you're likely going to crash it, and it's going to go down in a firey blaze. Run JetCat because they are very good with their turbine engines (unlike Wren, which also suck and have a poor usage life- most grenade on users after about 10 gallons of Jet-A). Stay well away from model turbine engines unless you know what you're doing- just FYI I'd keep the shee and ride the snot out of it- much safer than a turbine boat....

If I were to travel to a country where the Banshee is still in production, and then purchase the newest model, would I be able to bring it back to the states legally? Or would the emissions issue pretty much make it out of the question? I tried doing a quick search here and on Google and didn't come up with results..

Hmm, tey got some neat looking bikes over there at cascade, but I'm still looking for a screaming orange Banshee, one that makes you stop and wonder if that was a Cheeto that flew on by lol.

+1!! K&N's are okay and WAY overpriced, but rock a dual stage UNI and you will never go back.

I don't have direct experience with banshee's, but it seems that 22" tires are the most popular choice at Glamis/Gordons. You should have the balls to rock those

What are these things capable of "out of the box" stock, HP and speed wise? I have seen all kinds of claims from 65 to 90mph stock, and HP rating from 40's to 60's, so I'm just wanting to get the facts..

Hey guys! I have wanted a Banshee since I first saw one about 10 years ago, and now I feel that I am finally ready to dive into one head first. First question, which year Banshee should I be looking for? There is a Banshee from every generation around me, from a first model all the way up to 2006 models. Secondly, what should I look for on said shee, as far as cracks go, or whatnot. And third, what should I be looking to pay for one? I have seen them for as low as $1500 down here in okay condition, all the way up to basically showroom prices for beauty queens. I am looking for a rider I can ride the snot out of, but in the end shines up real nicely. I am mostly looking for one for the desert (everything from hardpack to Gordons Well and Glamis dunes) as well as something for the track, so good suspension is a must for me (considering I'm 6'1" and 220lbs or so). Thanks in advance!
