  1. Don't have a swing arm but you might want to rethink the cub for trails. If your still in the process of building and haven't gotten the cylinders yet I would look into the serval. That's what I just built for a trail bike.

thanks but have already purchased cub engine and dont mind if its not suitable for trails, building a spare bike for trails anyway. still after a swing arm : )

  2. hi there. im after a swing arm for trail/ open dirt road riding. i will be running a 421cc cub engine and would like an extended swing arm, not sure what size would be best but im thinking around a 4+ would be good?? thanks

  3. hey man, i reckon 35's would be sweet on it, my reasoning, just because haha.

id speak to redline racing, they are a sponsor on BHQ and know whats best for that motor.

but with those T5's on that engine, you could run stock carbs. you next big gain for that cub is a set of better flowing pipes.

thanks guys. yeah i was thinking around the 33-35mm mark. also, how much will the T5' pipes restrict my peak HP output? im obviously better off having some CPI's yeah??

  4. hi guys. just bought a 4mil cub 421cc motor built by redline racing, 4mil with long rod, it has custom cut domes and was used on race gas but im thinking of changing it back to around 20-21cc domes as i only will be really trail/ some drag riding against mates. i know this motors not ideal for trail but i love HP!!! lol . what carbs ans size would you recommend, and why? any help will be appreciated, thanks heath.

also i will be running t'5 pipes!

  5. If it is a rz350 top end I believe the exhaust will hook up directly to the banshee exhaust. The rz exhaust port is around 200* fully open not sure what it is closed. You will need the servos for the poweravalves, and I'm not sure but I think you need an RZ350 wiring harness as well. So cylinders, powervalves, servos, harness. Not sure if the CDI and stuff is compatible

thanks for that. yeah i think i might need to run an rz350 cdi as well to activate the servos??? ive only just started looking into this so the more info i get the better

  6. hi guys, im looking at converting my engine to power valved top end. i can get a nice set of jugs for under 100 bucks which i think is a bargain! i know i will need additional wiring etc, what else is needed? is the exhaust port for the pipes the same on the banshee and rz350? any help would be appreciated, thanks heath.
