  1. I was recently in the same boat. What I gathered was porting the motor would be get me close to a 4 mil power (assuming stock cylinders) for a little less money than a 4mil. A 4mil would cost a little more but would yield more power and might be a little more forgiving due to displacement. I ended up finding some used cubs that I installed but I was leaning towards the 4mil, I also liked that I could upgrade cylinders down the road. Just my .02, good luck.
  2. My step dad is rep for miller paint, he has painted some parts and one frame with some sort of industrial urethane and it has held up awesome. The paint has remained glossy and minimal chipping. Just my experience
  3. I have t5s on my cub and I was told I would gain a few hp switching to CPI's. T5s are have more torque but the CPI's will pull better at the top. Not sure about shearers, don't know much about them. Good luck
  4. What do you guys think about the suspension kits on ebay? Good deal or better off going to one of the above mentioned companies? Thanks
  5. I would go +4, that"s what I'm currently running and it's a good all around length. Sometimes I wish I had +6 on tree shots. Good luck
  6. What is the OD measurement of the foot peg? 450r are 2.5" and those are really nice. How much would it cost to add a middle row? Thanks
  7. The plastic is painted, its an older BMW color. The seat I just tried to find something close to the paint color, its actually an interior they use in boats. Cameron at Redline built the motor. Thank you
  8. I am in Eugene. Thanks.
  9. Thank you!!

    Fox Floats

Anybody running fox float front suspension? What are your reviews? Getting really close to ordering front suspension. Found some for sale and they seem decent but I don't know how they would compare to an elka, definitely lighter and I heard more adjustable but overall am I better off going with elka's?? Thanks for any help.
  12. I assume the cheaper set of shocks must be less features??
  13. Another dumb question, so I have been looking at second set of shocks Zillafreak found, I also found this set. What is the difference?? Different p/n but both are dual rates? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Elka-Shocks-Lone-Star-A-arms-Yamaha-Banshee-350-91-06-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem588ece9621QQitemZ380353025569QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  14. Thanks everyone for the feedback. Does anyone have any experience upgraded shocks with stock A arms vs. upgraded shocks with extended A arms?? I assume it will be big difference just making sure its worth the extra money. Thanks.
  15. They are dual rates. Anybody know anything about modquad a arms? I haven't heard anything about their A arms, I'm sure there are lots of good companies that manufacture A arms just hope this is one of those companies. Ball joints are typically better than heim joints?
  16. Ok sounds good, thank you.
  17. Not sure, I was doing some research and noticed that too. I will have to find out Tuesday. What stage would you recommend? Thanks
  18. I am looking at upgrading A arms and front shocks. I got a price on modquad +2 +1 black A arms, Elka dune edition shocks and braided front brake lines, about 1300 for everything. What do you guys think? Reviews on modquad A arms? Elka dune edition? Price (might be a little high)? Thanks for the feedback.
  19. My brother had a 4 mil cub, 94 hp, 175lbs, running 12 paddle ultra lites. He tried running with a 6 but it wasn't effective. Switched to an 8 and loved it but lost a little dunability. I can imagine that is more than a handful on a 4.
  20. Hey, I apologize if this has been discussed before but my search returned no relevant results. I am having my rear shock linkage powder coated, got the part removed no sweat but attempting to remove the seal is a different story. How do you remove that? I tried prying it out and tried driving it out with no luck. Thanks in advance for the responses.
