  1. Last year I purchased Lonestar dc pro with fox floats and fox podium rear shock. I was having trouble getting my ride height correct so i called Fox. They told me the spring is too light for my set up. I have a 400 lb spring on there now. The only other spring Fox can offer is 550 lbs which they think is too heavy. Any ideas where I can get a 475 or 500 lb spring.

Thanks for any help in advance.

  2. When I painted mine (it’s been a long time now).  I  cut all the fenders down so there was less flex and used a good adhering primer. Primer held up well but they automotive paint didn’t fair as well.  Granted I was the easiest on the paint.

If I had to do it over again I would look into new plastic.

    Good luck!

  3. Thanks for all the replies. Seemed like a 50/50 response. I was hoping for an overwhelming response in one direction haha.  May just go dc pro to get everything from one vendor.

On a side note does anyone know if I have braided brake lines for +2+1s will they work for +3+1s or do I need to get new brake lines?

    thanks for the help.

  4. Hey everyone,

I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on some new suspension.  I have decided on fox float 3s.  Atv galaxy has a kit with lonestar dc pro. After research here I’m leaning towards fireball.  Thoughts?

it would be easy to get the kit from atv galaxy but there are a lot of good reviews on the fireball a arms.

    thanks for any help!!

  5. Hey everyone, I have pretty much decided on Fox suspension front(float evol) and back. What is the general consensus on a arms?? Kinda leaning towards roll design but it seems like there are quite a few out there.  Is it more they are all good, just user preference?

I currently have Elka Stage 3 on the front (never been super happy with and a rebuild stock shock in the rear) with lsr +2+1 standard travel.

    We ride Oregon dunes exclusively.

    Thanks for the help!

  6. There is a fence with arborvitaes in front of it, forced the ramp through the arborvitaes, cut the cable for the ramp and pushed it out the side of the ramp ( I assume).  Didn't cut the locks either, they took bolt cutters to the tabs that the lock goes through.  Thought I was safe with good locks, but they will just go for the next weak point instead.

  7. 2003 Banshee stolen out of locked enclosed trailer last night in the Eugene, Oregon area.

    Red/black plastic.

Frame and everything was powdercoated sliver 1 year ago.

    T5's

I know its a long shot, but if someone's notices something please let me know.

Be careful with your quads.  I felt it was pretty safe, two good locks on the back and backed up to fence but they still got it.

Thanks for any help in advance.

  8. Having some issues with the wife's banshee. Her set up is stock motor, T5s, v force 2s, dual k&n filters, jetting 320 main 27.5 pilot. We ride dunes only.

Went riding a couple weeks ago and her right cylinder started acting like it had a fouled spark plug. Went home cleaned the carb out, installed new fuel line and filter. Went out the next weekend and ran good.....until lunch time, and the problem returned not running well on the right side. Checked the compression, 115 in each cylinder which I think is a little low but it was the same in each. Cleaned the carb, I started the bike again both cylinders seem to be firing good but it has a strange popping noise randomly out of the right exhaust and was spitting out fuel. I switched out the carb with a carb that I know works, problem remained. Changed out the reed petals, still have the problem. I tried switching plug wires, problem stayed on the right side.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  9. I finally upgraded suspension, I went with LSR +2 +1 and Elka dual rate, stage 2's. I was expecting a drastic improvement, I have been out on 2 day rides and am not super impressed. I feel that its better than stock but just not what I think it should be. Do I need to send them back to Elka to get them more dialed in for my riding?

Thanks for any help in advance.
