  1. Thanks again everybody! It idles now! I took carbs apart again and found my right pilot jet was clogged. Went through all bolts everything is nice and tight! It figures something simple like that. While carbs were apart put my needle on 3rd clip air screw 1.5 turns out and slides just barley tapping. Started right up and idled perfect! Still gonna make a leak down tester tomorrow but I will sleep better tonight.

  3. I still have the boxes on top of carbs but no tors box. I tried to mess with the screws on top of carbs nothing really changes. The air screw is about 2 turns out nothing really seems to change. I did just top end with all new gaskets. Gonna do a leak down test. Just have to make one first. Will check boots also.

  5. Went and rode a little bit. It still won't idle after its warmed up. I only was giving it 1/4 to half throttle. Runs great. Blowing blue smoke like normal. As soon as I stop giving it gas it dies and I have to pull choke to start it again when warm. Fuel issue maybe needle jet?
  6. Piston arrows are forward.They are real tight. No movement what's so ever but when I turned the flywheel it was Not hard to turn.
  7. No I have not done a leak down test. This is my first rebuild and have never needed one. I will make or buy on today. I made sure both carbs were cleaned before I reinstalled them. The slides are in correct carbs cause the little silver notches come into the windows and choke tube is installed. It does not seem to be running lean as it still smokes a little when I give it throttle and no popping. Just wont idle for me! Next step is the leak down test. After that maybe a bigger pilot jet?
  8. I have searched have not found anything about my problem! I just rebuilt my shee to .030 over and now she won't idle. It has stock bottom end. Wiseco Pistons. Stock carbs with 280 main jets and 25 needle jets. Air screw 1.5 turns out. Needle on the fourth clip. Carbs are synced and floats are in correct position! This was my setup for stock at 6500ft. not sure if I need bigger needle or main jets? I tried to raise my float's so it would idle and that don't work! when I give it gas it's real throaty, as soon as I let off throttle it dies! Has new Plugs ,Oil , Gas "40-1" Ratio , and New Clutch.. Bike was running great when I tore it down just figured after 2.5 years it was time.. When I tore it down I found my pistons moved in cylinders so that's why I bored them over. Nothing else was wrong with it.
  9. I droped it from a 310 to a 280 and it seems to like that. I also found the orange wire that runs to coil was touching against my exhaust and was melted a tade with exsposed wire showing.. {Tried to reroute wires to hide them... } Fixed that and now she is screaming again
  10. I have adjusted fine but the shee wasn't too happy! Yesterday was the first time riding it! Thanks for the reply's.. I will drop my jets down and let you guys know how it goes.. Thanks again!
  11. I just moved from Oregon to Northern New Mexico. Went from About 1000ft to 6000ft and now after i run WOT it starts missing.. It has bogged out and died a couple times now! I let it sit and it would start back up..but still misses .. I let it sit for a while then go putt around with the kids and runs fine at low rpm's.. I have 310 mains with stock pilot ,needle on 3rd clip.. airscrew 1 1/2 turns out.. It has no air box lid with a pro flow adaptor pro design foam filter and toomey T-5's.. Stock internals.. emergency brake and tors removed..Kinda seems like it runs outta gas.. Not sure! Gonna ride it and turn the gas off atfer it dies and pull the bowls to see if they have fuel tomorrow.. any other suggestions would be great! Thanks!
