I just bought Vitos 2 stage carbon flex reeds there are 3 pcs. i understand it goes block- bigger reed- then the smaller reed. but it also has a small brass plate. if any one could explain that, i could use the help. i dont think it goes between the two reeds because it would space them, but im lost. Ive checked out different pairs and it looks like it may replace the reed stop. I was under the impression that you needed the stop. thanks.
