  1. I Got my complete pro-mod trans by looking on eBay. I went with WCR, Great customer service, great price, great product. Hope this helps.
  2. Does any one have any experience with the intela jet and/or dial a jet? If so what is your opinion? worth the money? The reason I ask is not because im to lazy to jet, Im Ice racing and the temp and humidity the last two weekends have changed 12 degrees and 20% humidity in 30 minutes. 34mm mikunis do not help with the ease of jetting either, 35pwks in my future. Thanks in advance.
  3. Saturday was 32 degrees I was at 310 main needle in the center position and 20:1 mix this gave me a perfect grey plug. Sunday was 20 degrees but the humidity was up to 23 and a low pressure system had moved in, I ended up raising the clip 1 notch to lean it out and leaned the main to a 300 to get it back to grey from the rich black it was. So I learned that sometimes I may need to lean my bike out when the temp drops to compensate for humidity and air density. Hope this helps im in the process of tryin to learn about this in my jetting calculations as well.
  4. I guess this explains why the banshee is so darn good at turning left on the ice and flat-tracks huh. Thanks for sharing this info.
  5. Thanks Jeff. Between Kevin and Jeff I got some answers about the motor recipe I need. Thanks for the advice. Any one consider sponsoring a racer In Alaska?
  6. Hello fellow banshee owners. Semi new to the banshee realm. Addicted as usual. Ice racing is my drug of choice.

  7. Thanks kevin.
  8. Hello fellow banshee junkies I am ice racing up here in Alaska and would like to build a 75-85 hp shee motor that will be reliabe at high rpms for extended runs in cold weather. I have already learned alot from reading this site. Any input is welcome I will start making phone calls today to the site sponsors on here for advice. Is it possible to get good torque numbers with good hp numbers or is this a give n take area with banshees? Thank you all very much this site is the bomb when ever I have a question I get answers and I like the results. Im workin on getting pictures of my rides up for ya all to see but for the time being Alaska Ice Racers on facebook has a few shots of the shee dominating the ice. Thanks for the new addiction.
  9. You guys were correct. Pulled the clutch cover and touched the shift shaft and walla all my gears are back. Thanks so very much.
  10. Boy that would be real cool I will check it tomorrow thanks you guys ROCK.
  11. This is my first transmission tear down Im looking for any advice on what to look for with the trans being stuck in third gear? Any must have upgrades to keep from a repeat? Any advice is welcome. is there a bullet proof trans I can buy? Thank you in advance.
  12. My chain and sprockets are in great shape not many miles on them, thanks
  13. It only does it in the top of 4th and 5th gear under full throttle acceleration. I will try the free wheel method on a jack stand and see what i get. thank you very much
  14. Thats the first thing I checked all looks good there. That is what it feels like a toothless sprocket. this thing pulls like mad even with this feel/sound in it. Thank you for the response what should i check next?
  15. Hello This is the first post for me here and new to banshees. I am having an issue with my banshee, under hard acceleration im getting a kinda ratcheting feel n sound coming from what I think is the trans, The clutch does not feel as if its slipping at all, does anyone have any input on where i begin looking for the culprit? I am unsure of the year or the mods I do know it has jcs on the side of the cylinders, fmf pipes, kool head, 36mm carbs. This machine is faster than my other quads by far( bolt on modded trx 450, 488 athena yfz, ported fmf pipped 28mm carbed shee) I am Ice racing 1/4 mile if that helps at all. Thank you in advance.
