hey guys, just thanking everyone on here. but thanks to badass banshee all i did was put the choke hose from one carb to the other and its started first kick! i was kickin all day yesturday and this was the problem! i spent atleast 500 bucks redoing the bike from a new air filter, new vforce 2 reeds, new jets, new pistons, rings, CDI box, igtion coil,racing sparkplugs, replacing all oils and much more! this day had to be the happiest ive been since i got it! i evan got to rip it in the snow thats left! hahah. thanks alot guys i appriciate it!

ok will do and i did install the removal kit..and yes i held the throttle wide open...

ok. i dont gotta do no drillin or nutin right? lol just put a hose across? ya think thats what it is? maybe cause new piston and rings and its cold? but i put startin fluid in it... lol what u think? i mean im def gunna do that hose thing but anything else?

yes the tors are removed... the throttle buttons removed too.. and chock tube? i know i installed the idle skrews when i did the removal kit..

ok...heres the backround... it ran in june not good but it ran. so i ended up rebuildin everythin(pisons,rings,reeds, and rebuilt the carbs,) it sat till bout november from june all apart. so after i rebuilt everything there was no spark.. checked alot so i ended up givin it to my local yamaha stealership. they got it to spark and thats it..it was the ignition switch was shot. yes i visually checked for spark, great compression, and the plugs when i pulled em out they were a lil wet so i tryed a bit of startin fluid down the cylinder.and still nothin... now what?

hey guys.. my banshee wont start. its got fuel,great compression and great spark... i think it might be the air skrew... its got t5s, airbox, and its jetted... how many turns out should i go? i have it set at 2 right now as a guess and still nothin... let me know guys thanks!

ok guys... i got great compression, actually brand new piston and rings, got spark, and got fuel the bikes gunna start for the first time on the new parts. today i was kicking all day and its bout 30 degrees out... i threw a tiny bit of starting fluid in the cylinder and still nothin... do you think its cause the cold? i mean i kicked it bout 20 times.. then it got late and didnt wanna annoy the nahbors... any suggestions for tommarrow? i just dont understand why it wont start?, i have an idea that its the air to fuel... does anyone know how many turns out the air skrew is? i set it today at 2 turns out... please let me know by tommarrow thanks guys! you guys are alot of help! ps; i have t5 pipes on it and a aftermarket airbox and its jetted.

hey guys.. i got my 1999 yamaha banshee. its got t5s,carbs jetted,airbox,trotapers,itp holeshots all around,boost bottle, v force 2 reeds, nothin crazy but ive been hittin pretty big gaps maybe 30-40 foot, and im still runnnin on stock banshee shocks... then when i hit the jump wit my friends ltz400 with fox suspention its like landing on a pillow compared to mine. i can only spend around 100 bucks.. is there anything better for that much? like on ebay or somethin? if not ill have to prob wait a couple months.... HELP!

hey guys i have the aftermarket carb caps, i could never get my banshee to idle right, so i wanted to know if i should keep trying to get it idle or just have it like a race bike and no idle. let me know whats best to do! how will i get my best performence?

hey guys, so i finally figured out the problem why my banshee wouldnt spark! after all those answers and solutions from you guys i still couldnt figure it out! so i had to turn it over to my local yamaha stealership:( but the good news is that they found out the ignition switch was shot! so i got away with giving them 200 bucks witch isnt bad, so now all i gotta do is go pick it up and so finally after i rebiult EVERYTHING on the thing i finally get to rip it! cant wait guys! just wanted to thank all you guys for tryin to help out! ill let you know how shee runs!

alright guys, my boy just got a 2001 raptor 660, i think it has an exaust and shit but nutin crazy,i get my banshee outta the shop in 1-2 week(s) he wants to race and we bet so i said ill let you know, my banshee has toomy5 pipes, aftermarket airbox, v force 2 reeds, jetted carbs, boost bottle and mad other shit, nothin else done to the motor though, who would win? i mean i raced another friends raptor 660 and blew him away so im thinkin i got this one... just making sure though.haha

68 chevy do you think the 3 in 1 oil will work if i did that? and midlife so u think 3 in 1 should work? would it score the cylinder?!!

hey guys i picked up my friends blaster to borrow cause im snowed in down here, someone put sugar in the tanks a while back and i told him id fix it so i cleaned the tank and carb real good and when i went to kick it the first time it was seized up from the sugar cause it was sittin... any tricks on how to get that piston unstuck?! like putting something through the sparkplug hole? maybe wd40 or something? help me out! thanks guys

ok guys so back in the day i hit a 40 footer wit my banshee and the a arm got a crack in it and got bent..i didnt fall but it cracked and bent the right a arms top and bottom... i wanna get better a arms all around that are CHEAP! its welded for now... any suggestions before i just go buy stock banshee a arms for just the right side?

wicked does it matter what size the sockets are? and make the clamp as tight as possible? and then what?connect the cdi like i normally would? then kick it?
