  1. I have a bottom end for sale. It includes cases from and older model banshee ( case serial # startes with 2G.....), transmission, and Hot Rods crank. Everthing looks good with it, although it has the typical chain whack on the upper case. Long story short I bought the motor off of ebay thinking I was going to port my cylinders, bolt it together and ride. I changed my mind and ordered a 4 mill kit with porting from HJR and reused my 03 cases and transmission. I haven't ran the motor I'm selling but it seems to be fine....crank turns very smooth and gears turn smooth also. Asking $375 shipped (as long as its in the continental states). I'm open to all resonable offers. Please understand this is for the BOTTOM END ONLY....no cylinders or pistons included. Thanks!

  2. I started to use the 87 bottom end but decided to just sell it. After looking at the 03 cases they weren't all that bad. A little jb weld and they look great. I don't really know the value of an 87 bottom end. It has the Hot Rods crank in it. I'd like to ask 400 for it or work out a partial trade for PWK 33's and pods or 34's and pods. Let me know. I have never ran the bottom end and when I bought it they said it was good to go.

  3. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding an 03 banshee that I bought from a young boy that destroyed the motor....it's turnign out great. So I buy another used bottom end on ebay, little did I know it came out of an 87-88 bike, but it was rebuilt with a hot rods crank, so I put it in. The more I started thinking about it I just decided to call up Kevin at HJR and order a 4 mil crank, dune/play port, NOSS head w/domes, pancake bearing, modded shift star....gonna pair it with 33 or 34 carbs and sell my Trinity 2 into 1 setup ( I refuse to use Trinity products!!!). I thought I could use my old 03 cases off of the destroyed motor since it wasted a cylinder and bent a rod. Well, I was wrong I believe. I was looking at where the crank bearings sit on the outer edges and it looks like it broke off some of the metal around where the retaining clips sit on the bottom case. Is this safe to clean up and reuse or do I have to suck it up and buy a pair of cases? I just dont want to be wasting money on the new stuff I just bought. Buy the way I'm sure the 87/88 bottom end will be for sale and so will the Trinity 2 into 1 intake/ 35mm carb/ filter setup if anyone is interested. Please let me know what you would do.....just clean it up around some of the broken edges that retain the clips/ let the bearing rest on or hunt down new cases? Thanks!!!

03 banshee: black frame, Laeger +2+1 a-arms, PEP stabalizer, Durablue +4 axle, Elka triple rates, Elka rear, AC pro-peg nerfs, AC front/rear bumpers, Protaper bars, ITP wheels, ACE fabrication round swing arm, yfz 450 calipers, timing plate, VF II's, Pro Circuit pipes

On the way----HJR dune/ play port, NOSS head, 4 mil crank, pancake bearing, modded shift star, new clutch, .......needs carbs, filters, and pingle for fuel.....then she will be ready to rip.

  4. I'm not for sure if I posted in the correct place, if I didn't, feel free to move it. I'm just curious if I'm making the right choice on carbs. My build will consist of HJR hardcore mx ported cylinders, Wiseco pistons, coolhead, V-force 2's, dual pods, Pro Circuit pipes, adjustable timing plate. Down the road I may go 4 mill and new cylinders. I'm wanting some nasty power, ride mostly trails where 4th gear is about the most it sees. I do some hill climbs too and the rare pull through all 6 gears. I'm about to buy some pwk 28's. Will this be enough carb for my bike and something I can grow into with a 4 mil down the road? I currently have the Trinity 2 into 1 with a 35mm carb...but I refuse to put a Trinity product on my bike and don't realy care for the 2 into 1 idea. It just happened to be in the bag of parts that came with my project banshee. Please give me some advice as I'd rather listen to the pro's on here and spend my money once and do it right. I can't wait to finish this beast and leave my ltr 450 sitting in the garadge lol. Thanks!

  5. Looking for a pair of 28mm pwk carbs in good shape to finish my banshee project. I also would be interested in the pod filters to go with these too. I do not want stock carbs that have been converted to 28's though.
