  1. where is the dyno section ? I have a set of cylinders not doing anything and thinking of boring them out a little and getting some pistons. Not sure though how big I can go on the cylinder without replacing crank.
  2. I had to remove the inside bushing that the stock chain slider rides on. So I had to drop the swing arm. After that was removed the Mooose one went on like a champ. Here is the little bastard
  3. the part number 1231-0073 is the moose p/n for a stock swing arm. I have sent Moose a e-mail and they asked me what p/n I had and now I am waiting for a reply.
  4. Isn't the purpose of a split slider to ease in the installation so the swing arm does not have to be dropped? Yes the old one was removed. This pic is from the back end of it, you can see the gap that is there.
  5. I wish there was an eighth inch gap. I have like a half an inch. It is so far off the screw will not go into the hole and it will not squeeze together by hand.
  6. I picked up a Moose Racing split chain slider for a stock swing arm. The problem I have is it will not close up after it gets wrapped around the swing arm. Like the hole is to small. Anybody else run into this problem?
  7. ^^^^^ How the heck do you have a 2010 when they stopped making them in 2006???? My dealer had 15 of them in creates. They day before I bought my son's last october they shipped 13 of them to Louisiana. They still have one on the floor.
  8. I own both, bought them both brand new last year. A 09 700 and a 06 shee. the banshee has been back to the dealership twice for issues not once for the 700. I'm just sayin. To each his own
  9. Why would it be to get our banshee started I have to cover the intake with my hand ? I recently changed the pilot's from the stock 25's to 27.5's. Do I need to go up to 30's?
  10. What does changing the clip position on the needle do?
  11. The plugs look good so I don't think it coould be the mains. I do believe they put it together prior to me picking it up so I don't think there has been fuel sitting in the carbs that long. I feel it is the pilot jet's do the fact that the pilot jets are used at closed to 1/4 throttle.
  12. Fresh fuel, and the quad is brand new off the showroom floor
  13. I have a new stock 2006 and it is a pain in the but to get started, and when it does get started it is sluggish at low rpm's or in first gear. I also have a trx 400 and I changed the pilot jet in that to a bigger one and it starts up alot better than it did before the jet change will changing the pilot jets help this or is it the TORS? elevation is 4000 if that makes any difference
  14. We just got our son a new 06 and have a few troubles with it. It has overheated twice, once while riding and once while idling. The engine keeps running even after the switch is shut-off and the key is off and out. After running for a while and then putting it in neutral the engine revs and the only way to shut it off is by giving it gas. Something tells me it has something to do with the TORS. The dealer has it back but thought i would check here for any idea's. Love the site
  15. Is there any issues with adding this timing plate to a bone stock engine. Not even pipes Looking to add a few inexpensive mods. btw, just found the site and like it. Lots of great info
