  1. I have decided to sell 2 pieces of Original Disney Comic Art from my collection.

These came from a collector in California approx 10 - 12 years ago.

They are from the late 50's - early 60's.

The first piece is unframed , comes with the original rough sketch ! I do have a custom made solid teak wooden frame made for it.

The second piece is framed, has acid free matting , UV protection glass and also a custom solid teak wooden frame.

This is your chance to own a one of a kind piece of history.

    Piece #1 - $2100

    Piece #2 - $2200

These are truly one off, one of a kind items, with strong investment potential. Will only increase in value.

Only offering for sale in the hopes of funding a project.

  2. There shouldnt be any play in the idler gear.

I suspect you may have 2 separate problems , but , replace that idler gear , washer, and clip while you have it apart. In time, that idler rear will begin popping off the clip and washer with a chance of creating you some costly repairs.

As for the kick starter..wish I could help. I also have a problem with mine , posted in another thread

    Good luck

  3. Last time I removed my clutch cover the complete kick start assembly came with it.When it did it the parts on the shaft also fell off. I didnt get a chance to see how everything was together lol

Now, after putting things back together, looked at the pics in the bottom end assembly thread....I am unable to kick the bike over.

When I push the kick lever it "fetches up" very early in its swing. I didnt force it as figured I did a little something wrong.

I took the clutch cover back off and tried moving the kick lever to see what was taking place. The lever does move wit the cover off....although as the gear moves out along the spline it passes the idler gear and begins to push the plastic bushing off

Any tips to get this placed correctly...I gotta get a few burnouts and a few passes in before winter disassembly lol

    Thanks in advance guys

  4. Well this summer was a total write off for me and the banshee.

Lots of mechanical and tuning problems with the bike...very little time to work on the bike....and some health problems that are still being ironed out.

I am hoping to lighten the frame this winter, possibly re-paint the bike and get things set to go for the spring !!

The track I am going to run at a few times is approx 225 foot

What is a decent choice for paddles with my setup assuming I try the 16/44 or 45 sprocket gearing?

  5. Guess the shot of nitrous is a bit too much also huh lol

14 mil cheetah, 39 mm pwks on alky, RDZ oof's, 1-5 over-ride, + 6 swingarm, struts front n rear, wheelie bar

Hoping to lighten the frame as much as possible this winter. I guess this engine in a stock frame is a bit wild but I prefer to keep my bike looking like a banshee.Nothing against stretched frames etc...I do love them, but wanted to maintain the stock look with the frame

  6. Been having a issue with the washer and clip on the idler gear that lays behind the clutch pack

Twice now after taking the clutch cover off, I have found the clip and washer in the bottom of the side case

Anyone had similar problems and how did you overcome it ?

Do I risk damaging things when that comes off ?

  7. Hi guys

Before starting my banshee today I checked all the fluids.I see the coolant was low so topped it up.After doing so, I noticed coolant leaking under the engine. It appears to be coming from the area where the coolant hose comes out from behind the clutch cover . The coolant is running along the back of the heads on the top of the block and down through. The hose isnt cracked, clamp is tight...any ideas

  8. Ok guys.

This winter I plan on making my bike more show worthy.I would like to take my block, cylinders and head to be chromed.

Right now things are polished but.....in our climate it just doesnt last well and chrome is the way to go .

Will I run into problem doing this? Any concerns with the nikasil in the cylinders?

If my chromer is unable to do these, any leads on guys in Canada or the US that will be capable of doing this?

  9. I have a set of 39mm pwk's on alky.

One of the carbs had a broken idle adjuster screw ( plastic ) when I got the carbs.I ordered 3 new ones and they wont seat correctly...very tight screwing them in.

Almost seems they have the wrong thread pitch

    SO

I'd like to order a set of brass ones for these carbs, and would like to know where you guys would purchase/ order them from?

  10. Well I got the shee to start !!

Dont ask me how and what I did to fix anything lol

Problem now is.....I have white oil...and I have what looks like a coolant leak somewhere on the bottom of the base !!!

I did purge the engine after running it a bit.

Any ideas as to what the leak could be from and is the white oil related or is it possibly from excess fuel getting into the base??

  11. I'm just trying to throw out some ideas. Having said that, can the slides go in backwards like the stock ones can which causes a similar effect?

The slides in the 39mm pwks can only go in one way, unlike stock slides

I am still wondering about the automotive plug wires I was told to use.....and I dont have anything to change them out with

  12. is your choke crossover tube installed & in good shape no cracks etc?

i am assuming it runs betwen the 2 carbs?

just where should this tube attach....other than the overflows, the powerjet tubes and fuel lines i dont really see where they would / should attach

    * hangs head in shame * lol
