imma pull the crank tonight. how do i identify it

I have no clue about the lower end other than that rhe rod says hot rod.. The old cylinders got a hole between the waterjacket and the cylinder wall. What and how do i inspect the crank and bearings

Im not sure what happened to them. I think it got hot and lean. The guy i got it from did say it was 90 over so probly pretty thin too.I just knew it wasnt good when all my water went out the exhaust and exhaust went in radiator. Ill try to get some pics up tomorrow. I know the old jugs were ported. What is case match port and how do i identify it

So i blew up my banshee a while ago and now have the funds to fix it. It was my first banshee and i melted holes in the cylinders. Ive picked up a set of jugs and want to start fixing it. Ive been going through the site here and have learned alot. I dont know much about the bike its self. Since i had the jugs off i did notice hot rods on one of the connecting rods. I guess my question is what are some things i should check while the jugs are off. i know it has v force reeds, cool head, and paul turner pipes. What mods and how should i check for? How do i inspect the lower end for and wear/damage. Any help is appreciated. Alos the jugs i got look like they might have some port work done. How do i know if it is a good port or junk?

So my shee has been run a lot with bad exhaust o rings and now there is burnt on oil on it and I can't get it off for the life of me any suggestions of how to get it off and make the pipes all shiney again thanks

ok cool I found the missing bolt on the hanger and I suppose ill go get some new o rings any ideas why there is black oil all over the the thing sticking out of the top of the leftcarb

Ok thanks but will that seal it too the motor so it won't leak

Quick question is there anything besides the 2 springs that holds the exhaust to the engine one of my pipes is loose (I can wiggle it arround) and spitting black oil allover my bike and I want to get it fixed thanks

Lookin at another shee for a friend and the guy said it was ported so much that there is epoxy on the bottom of the jug in one spot and it was a normal thing anyone heard of this or is he tryin to get over on us thanks

Well I've been ridin my first banshee and it seems like when I punch it it goes pretty good but half way through the rpms jump,it spins the tires and takes off it does this through 123 gears and I haven't gotten it higher. It is .090 over cool head stage 2 reed valves piped and no air box on stock carbs are the carbs loading up or is this the "powerband" thanks

i just git my first banshee the guy said it was .90 over,cool head, hot rod crank, v force stage 2 carbon reeds paul turner pipes with dg silencers, +6 swing arm, apparently it has stock carbs because the 35mms one has a broke srew and clip which i plan to fix arent installed. anyways i went riding and afterward it has a black oily substance allover the front of the motor and on the big part of the pipes why is that. also it seems to bog at low rpms it used to do it halfway through the rpms but after riding a while it seemed a little better but still did it any help would be appreciated as this is my first banshee
