  1. there is something wrong if you guys are fouling plugs while using yamalube.
  2. There is nothing wrong with yamalube at all. I've been mixing it 32:1 for years and have never fouled a plug. My banshee has lasted for over 3 years using it and when I took it apart to freshen it up, all looked great inside. I will continue to use it as long as I have a shee.
  3. does anyone have any more info on these transmissions? Also does anyone have a link?
  4. Sheefreaks polishing looks far superior to diskos polishing. I would send my stuff to sheefreak!
  5. nope, the tires say turf tamers on the side wall and hauler on the paddles. I won't be buying them though, he wants 300 for the haulers W/rims and 400 for the fronts. Way too much IMO
  6. Are they all like this? so what would be a good price to offer the guy for these? they look to be in good condition.
  7. I called a guy today about some paddles and he says they are skat track 20x11x9 9 paddles haulers. Then he said they used to be turf tammers that were retreaded. Is this possible?
  8. sounds like the plugs in the case where the shift fork rods go must have poped out. You'll need to order a new one and put it back in. Use some epoxy before installation and press it back in. Go here http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1987-yamaha-motorcycle-banshee-yfz350t/o/m6966 and it's #18 in the transmission microfiche
  9. OK thank you for the great info. One other question. if there is too much blowby, is it possible that those gases could combust in the crankcase itself and still run? I know.....lol.....stupid question. please answer it though
  10. I had to rebuild the entire top end because it was haunted by"BLOWBY lmfao
  11. On a stock banshee with pipes, could this crazy thing called "blowby" cause a motor to surge up and down at idle and sometimes bog when running it? I'm just wondering because someone I talked to really believes this is my problem. My elevation is 2400'
  12. so...it took you ALL night to come up with this nonsense? I wouldn't expect any less from a guy with your intelligence. And by the way, a 5lb difference in compression between cylinders is fine. I unlike some certain child, actually used the search function and read about it before posting. And besides, the problem is fixed......Because I listened to some knowledgeable people and you certainly were not amongst those people. Oh and I won't start name calling like a little kid does either, I'm better then that.
  13. Well, If your were actually intelligent enough to read the entire first post I wrote, It states I already did a compression test. "Blow by" you say? this says nothing about the symptoms my banshee had considering the compression was already posted. I think you are just a child trying to fit in with the people of BHQ but your going about it all the wrong way. When you first meet someone, do you do this to them ? I didn't think so, because some people wouldn't tolerate such behaviour.....It just dumb and asking for problem. So my question to you is, why be the BIG MAN behind the keyboard? You will eventually grow up and learn to go to the potty yourself on your own, but until then, don't comment in my threads. Thank you and have a good day!
  14. what's with that smiley? What, your weren't a newby at one time or another. I think you should get off your high horse and settle down. Your going to give yourself an an aneurysm. jeeze there are quite a few morons around here...
  15. your a really nice guy. thanks for the info

  16. It's just a glory hole.
  17. Holy. what did I ever do to you to?
  18. Sometimes it hurts when people speak the truth
  19. What exactly would I need to make this a bullet proof set up? will I need transmission mods, do I need a new crank, etc...
  20. Well i did as you guys said and I found a small tear in the intake boot. I'm pretty sure that is my problem. Thanks!!
  21. Thanks for the reply but, what's a leakdown test? I have synced the carbs by eye already. It just started doing this the other day.
  22. Damn! I'm liking the theme your going with. Never seen anything like it. Good work!
  23. Hey guys. So I've been lurking for some time now and figured I'd finally sign up. Right now I have a 1997 banshee mostly stock with bills pipes, boost bottle, and K&N filter. I Have a little trouble with it at the moment though. It seems to idle up and down from time to time and it also seems to bog out. I've checked the compression and it's at 116 on the left and 120 on the right. I don't know whats going on. any help would be great! Thanks and great site!
