  1. ok, well would it be a safe vet to just bore to next size since the jugs are getting taken to a machine shop for a lil port work any way, i plan to do some heavy trail riding, so its gonna be a mildly built bike, pipes, port work, carbs, clutch, a arms, shocks , timing plate, new reeds, etc.
  2. i went and checked it again and its reading around 50 pounds, i must have forgot to hold the throttle open or somthing, but its not reading 0, i know the bike it was my neighbors sons bike and it hardly ever got rode, the last 4 years it has been in storage, and they only went over there a hand full of times to start it, but its been gettin harder and harder to start each time they went, he told me he suspected low compression on one cylinder
  3. hey guys ive been lurkin around unregistered for some time now and decided to register, so i have a question, i just bought a 97' bone stock shee for 500 bones from the original owner cuz the compression is 0 on the right cylinder and around 110 on the left, he said the bike only had around 50 or so hours on it and was only rode in the summer at the beach, hell the tires are the originals with low tread, now to my question, would it be a good idea to just go ahead and go to the next size bore ( its at 64.00 now) . i plan on trail riding with the occasinal trip to the dunes, any advice would be great, great site with loads of info
