The plugs looked good but i changed them anyway. How do you check the stator??

I did that and still the same thing.

I have a 1998 banshee. It has been running great until I was drag racing up at silver lake and 2\3 way down the strip it stalled out. It started back up but will not rev up. I have checked the compression and it is good. I replaced the spark plugs but still the same. It has had the tors and the parking brake off now for about 3 years. I need help with this please???
