  1. Ok, so my banshee must be burning case oil. I don't see it leaking from anywhere and the funny thing is that pipes aren't blowing out tons of white smoke either, but it must be going somewhere! I want to take it out this weekend for a short ride. Maybe an hour or so then when I get time I'll take it all apart and change the seals. So, here's my question...Is there any thing I can dump into the case to get it to stop leaking so bad so I can still go for that ride. Will leak stopper work or will it mess up my clutch plates as soon as a pour it in?
  2. A friend of mine just gave me a temperature reading laser gun thing. You just point it on the barrel and it tells you how hot it's running. So, what the normal temp I can expect after running a stock motor?
  3. What 's the size is the nut on the crank (flywheel side)?
  4. Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea if these are RD or RZ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270578786659&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
  5. Do you know if all shifting forks are the same from year to year. Will RZ350 ones work? Thanks for your help.
  6. Do they bend in ways that you can't tell just by looking at them? I looked at them, but hell I don't really know what I'm looking for. It's only my second time splitting the cases.
  7. So about two weeks ago I broke a clutch cable and had to ride it home by lightly popping it into gear. I put a new one in and found that when I put it into second gear and cracked the throttle just a bit it would buck foreword and rev in short spikes of power like it did not want to be in that gear. I took it all apart , checked for wear, grooving on the clutch basket and even replaced the star and put a pro-shift on it. Still no second gear!!!! I'm I missing something here? Could this be some sort of air leak, wiring, or fuel issue? If so, why only second gear?
