  1. Kevin at HJR did mine and i could not be any happier. His turn around was fast, his customer service is great, and he will answer any question you throw at him. The jugs themselves after i received them back from kevin looked great, but when i put them on, wow, my banshee was a whole new beast. Haven't heard anything bad from any of the sponsors though. Good luck with making your decision
  2. there was close to nobody out there last weekend and the sand was the most chewed up it has ever been when i have ridden out there. then it rained and it got hard and rutted. not a good combo. the rain made the lips on the jumps good though.
  3. i run t6's on dune ported cylinders and it runs great! i was worried about having zero top end and gettin beat at the drags. but for all around riding it is great. didnt get beat at the drags either. i've ridden a banshee with fmf gnarlies before back when my shee was stock and i couldnt stand it. if you are running a stock shee t6's are most likely your best bet.

  5. the piston is moving but i can hear something sort of grinding below it. i am going to pull the cylinder off today
  6. so far i have the head off and the intake off. there is a very slight dent in the top of the piston on the left cylinder. it is tiny. would that affect it?
  7. there is 0 compression in the left cylinder

  9. i just finished a run at the drags. and this was after a leisurely ride through the dunes. i was turning around and going to line back up at the start. i was riding slowly in 2nd gear and the quad bogged down and died. it would not start. i noticed that the piston in the left cylinder was the problem, but i dunno whats wrong with it yet. its almost like the piston isnt moving everytime i kick it. of course i will be taking it back apart to see what the issue is sometime this week, but what should i be looking for?
  10. back when my quad had nothing on it but t6's and pod filters, i would beat every ds that i would drag at pismo. from stock to piped. never lost to one except for a group of 3 guys that had alba racing ds's that were quick!
  11. alright, so i have the carb apart. and the floats in hand. how do i measure 16mm? could you explain that please?
  12. thats what i was thinking. and i have cleaned it all 2 times. but nothing seems to be freeing them up. what do you suggest that i do to fix it? i mean i have sprayed carb cleaner to try and free things up, but im lost for ideas
  13. just got a new keihin pwk 39 mm carb. as soon as i turn the gas on, gas flow out of the overflow tube on the bowl. i dont know what the problem is! i have cleaned it a couple of times and cant find a problem. it continues to leak gas even when the motor is running. i need help fast please!
