  1. do you have any other symptoms like popping or backfiring and what is your setup and jetting
  2. use an impact wrench on the clutch bolt it should not keep coming loose and it might have one of those washer that you bend over the nut and the idle i have to cover all marks turn down the idle screw (on the tors or side of carb if tors eliminated) air fuel screw might be lean or rich how many turns is it ? make sure the cable isnt bound up
  3. what is loose the bolt that holds the basket on and what do you mean by floppy check the clutch springs
  4. the idle is the carbs check for air leaks, pilot screw, idle screw and make sure their clean

  13. yea did that last weekend they talked shit all week when i showed up they said i didnt expect that i beat a rmz 250 dirtbike and the guy with ltr450 pussied out biggest grin on my face all year
  14. oh that would be fine its in the 50 - 70 s here so i didnt think about it id try with 280s first its better to be rich than lean
  15. dmc recomends 280s with no lid id try that

  17. yes but i would put the boost bottle on ebay all it is good for is looks put the stock one back on
  18. if it is the idle just hold the gas in a little it will start and unplug the carbs and little black box on the left side of the tank that covers the tors if you have no airbox or no lid youll probly need 280 or bigger i started out like you about 2 years ago it is very easy to learn let us know what happens

    they are a mid to top pipe but they do not drop the bottom end like toomeys do they are a great pipe for midrange too they work great on unported motor but will combine good with any mods you do i tried the t5 .fattys , procircuits and dmc and these are my favorite 2, is the fattys 3. pc toomeys are great pipes but they are mostly top end

    they are the best all around pipe imo my bike has 28mm carbs ttrail ported +4 degree rad valves and a couple other things but i have power from idle to wide open i would highly reccomend these pipes honestly i like them better than t 5s just dont go to big on the carb youll lose all bottom end but they are great for ported bikes

    hold on guys just found a set of fattys in the for sale forum let me check on them first only 50 bucks i dont need them i hace dmc916 just want something different
