  1. Do you have a title to go with the frame? Might also be interested in the a arms. Im from south michigan so its kinda a drive but i need a new frame..
  2. That thing looks sick!! Makes me want to start mine right now lol. Front plastics turned out really good cant wait to see it all together.
  3. Thanks guys any info helps. Im surprised how hard it is to find good info on the net for painting plastic. Ill get some pics posted as soon as i get started. Im probably going to strip the shee down in a week or so and get started. Painting the plastics is just the tip of the iceberg. Im also powder coating the frame and a arms red, getting a plus 6 swinger, engine over haul with new carbs, reeds, intake manifold, crank, high compression pistons......... the list goes on and on and on This is my first atv build but i can already tell it wont be the last. Im actually already thinking about buying another banshee, found one really cheap on cl but somebody bored it wrong and the engine is probably junk.
  4. I have blue plastics that i want to paint black with a gloss finish. Ive been searching like crazy and its hard to find good advice on how to paint plastics. Im really looking for somebody that has done it with a gun not a can of spray paint. Whats the best primer/paint to use for plastics? And what grit do you sand them with before priming? Ive seen people talking about using car paint and adding flex agents to keep it from cracking. This sounds like a pretty good way to go but i really need advice from somebody who has done it and not had problems with it cracking or chipping. I have a friend that use to paint motorcycles so he has all the equipment needed. Im not as concerned with the price of materials as how well they will hold up. If you have painted your plastics please tell me how you did it and if it help up, and pics are great .
  5. So you guys are doing this october 14? I just bought my banshee its pretty much stock, but id really like to find some people to start riding with. I live in monroe michigan (on the ohio border) if somebody wants to pick me and the quad up ill gladly chip in on gas and camp site costs. I plan to take my shee down to the frame this winter and build a beast, so hopefully either way i can make some rides with you guys next year. Or if anybody makes a trip to silver lake this year id probably do that to.
