I got so many people asking about the engine in a box. PM me and I'll let you know when it comes your turn if you want it. The Cylinders are 65mm but need a bore IMO. Heads both have damage tot the domes. Trans is good and cases are good. I think most are just wanting the cases so I might sell it piece by piece. I should have listed it like that from the start.

Frame is a 1999 I Think, still waiting for the title. As far as selling the frame I would like to keep it pickup only. I messed around with trying to ship a raptor frame herre lately and it iss just to much of a pain and I don't have a lot of spare time. Sorry wish I could ship them easier but only have the USPS near me to ship easily.

I would rather keep them together right now sorry.

I got it still. Forgot all about it. I think it is a all stock harness. He bought it off eBay when he was having electrical problems and replaced all the electrical stuff at one time. I try to price stuff at about 5-10 lower shipped then they normally sell for on the smaller stuff. I don't know a good price on a harness though.

I know I'm not a Banshee rider anymore but over on the RaptorForum we are having a G2G on the 29=30=31. Most will be the 30th. I know there will be a few Turbo 700 Raptors there. Should be some good drag racing if us 4 strokes can keep up that is...

The banshee has a cool head with 21cc domes with FMF pipes and just a slight overbore but nothing major. Also a advanced timing plate adj, to about 4 degrees advance. I'll try the air screw and check it out. It has been awhile since I have done anything to her but it has always done this a little bit. I'll give that a shot first Thanks

What causes a real High idle on startup. When I fire up my banshee it Idles real high to the point where I have to put it in gear and put the engine under a load. This only does it on a stone cold engine. The rest of the day it will fire up perfect and run just fine. I know it need some jetting tweeking but its not crazy off on the jetting as it has been the same for a few years and I have changed nothing. It is also boggy for the first few min but when it warms up it runs perfect. I am just wondering where to start at any help would be nice. Thanks

He said it was the shaft was to big but that was 3 years ago. I never seemed to have a problem missing gears so I didn't grind any of the gear mostly because I wanna get it running today lol. I ride mostly fields and a small gravel pit and the dunes a few times a year. Don't do much drag racing with it cuz I have no fast quads to race with except for mine and a couple YFZ's nothing fast enough to hang though.

I found that the 5th gear pinion welded it self to the shaft. Took me a bit to find it because I though the shaft was splined for it but it was supposed to spin lol. Thankfully I had a spare tranny that the 2nd gear was bad on so I made one good tranny. I'll try to get pics of the pipes up tomorrow. Never posted a pic but I will figure it out. What is a pancake bearing do? I'll be pulling the motor apart this winter and putting a +4mil stroker in it and get the cylinders ported so I will hold off on the internals. Don't have a ton of cash now. I modded the shift star today and will mod the shaft tomorrow. any other things I should grind on tomorrow lol. Also what is the best impeller to buy my buddy bought a modquad and had nothing but problems with it. He said it wouldn't fit right. I Thanks for all the help

Last year my banshee's Drain plug came out and ran the tranny/cluch dry and It locked up the tranny. It would run real good just would not move at all and I fried the clutch trying to make it move. I split the cases and the cluth was fried but I couldn't find anythin else wrong with it the gears they looked perfect.I cleand up all the cluth pieces and I spun the gears and they move freely now that it is apart and they shift fine. The shift forks look like they may have got hot and look discolored. I have a set of fork to put in it just wondering if It world be something else. Also the gears that are in it are from a newer banshee because it would kick out of second gear with the other gears that were it it. I put the newer gear pack in and It worked for 6 month or so until the drain plug fell out. It has been sitting in the barn for a year now I figured I I had better fix it now that I got my raptor running. Also what should I do to this old beast. It have a few mods done to it I'll list below. It is a 87-88 I'm not sure yet but The motor has low hours on the pisons-rings with a fresh bore about 6 hrs ride time on them so I would like to keep the pistons and stuff like that for now and not buy new ones. It has a stock crank Cool head with 19CC domes FMF Pipes Not sure what series they are they say (FEEL THE POWER) They don't have any other marking on them. Any one know what they are. It could use some new reeds Im sure Thay have been the same for the last 10 years lol. I have the J-arm to A-arm Conversion with +2 A-arms And works Triples with Rez. I need a new rear shock. But A stock one works for me as I don't jump just ride around a field and the dunes. Other then that what should I mod. I have tires and stuff like that but what are the good bolt ons.
