  2. I SOLD MY 38'S AND FOUND SOME 38 AND 40 ALCHYS, BUT IM STILL LOOKING FOR MAYBE A BETTER DEAL DUE TO NEEDING A FEW OTHER PARTS. I ALSO WANT TO FIND SOME GOOD SHAPE V-FORCE REEDS FOR A CHEETAH AND SOME 38MM OR 40MM AND POSSIBLY 41MM INTAKES. I HAVE PAYPAL SO I CAN PAY YOU RIGHT AWAY. IF YOU HAVE SOME GOOD CARBS WITH INTAKES THAT WILL WORK TO... JUST TRYING TO BALL ON A BUDGET..LOL.. IVE FOUND SOME LECTRON 40'S, KEIHIN 41'S, AND A FEW OTHER GOOD DEALS ON HERE.   3. the nitrous cuts out all the lag and reduces the intake temp tremenoudsly. i have 1 suggestion, in all my drag builds where a turbo was used i had much more success by dumping the wastgate into the atmosphere, that reduced back pressure and let the turbo spool up much quicker which helps stop lag.it dosnt sound to good but it works. on a car i would run it out the side of the nose cone and if it had to be streetable i would run it through a crotch rocket can (muffler), but you wont have to worry about that. most turbos have the exh and wastegate machined in witheach other but you can find them made seperate. check ebay. ive made a splitter but only once, much cleaner buying the right turbo. also a plenum would help in the cooling also, it would give the air a trap and even though it wont be in there long, every little bit of time helps when it comes to cooling the air temp. as far as the motor needing all these high $ upgrades, whats the difference in running a 50 shot of nitrous to what your doing? your doing a fine job, if i thought i could tackle it and had the money i would try it. but for now, ill wait for someone like you to get it right, then a company will buy it from ya and it will be all over ebay with the kinks worked out and then ill get one..lol.. my hats off to you!! btw...more pics please??

  6. may also be willing to pay a lil boot depending on what you have. also dosnt have to be flat sides. just some good alchy carbs that can support a 100hp cub motor. thanks i also have my carbs on ebay, so if you have or know someone that has some for sale please let me know. its looking like the carbs are gonna sale soon.(i hope)..lol.

  8. carbs are 4 months old.PJ series, have had 3 tanks of 114 run through them. They look and are in new condition. Im just upping my compression for alchy to get that lil edge on the strip. im running a cub motor so i need some descent size ones. send me pics of what you got and the specs. thanks
  9. i build strokers and big bore kits and i want to get into building overdrives. i want to sell them at a cheaper price so a few more guys can afford them. any help would be great! thanks
  10. yes its alot more maintainence, if you run alot, changing oil after every other run and so on. but the down side is the smell, alot of guys get scared when they see the carbs or smell the fuel. as for not liking it, i do like the results especially when you add that lil additive nitro-meth. ive just seen alot of guys running it on cub motors with semi low compression and want to see if anyone has seen gains worth the money spent to convert. and i live in the middle of no-where and alchy isnt that easy to get where as 104 to 118 is.
  11. im a nitrous nut and i want to put gas on my banshee but my only concern is no battery. i know i can do a stator upgrade n add a batt but im trying to keep it hid. has anyone else put nos on their bike without adding a batt? i thought of using the hot wires for all the lights for my power supply due to they are not even on the bike anymore, but my concern is enough amps n volts. i wouldnt be spraying but at hight rpm which is when the voltage is highest anyway but i like to just get extra opinions thanks

On all my drag cars n bikes and last drag raptor 700, i ended up trying alchy. on my raptor , did better with 114 than alchy. drag bike same. drag cars and mud racer same. the only time i got an improvement was when i upped the compression alot. im running a cub setup w/ 39mm carbs and im thinking of going to alchy but is it really that much of a gain if any if i dont want to bump the compression due to my motor only has less than 4 hrs run time. but i love the look of the flat sided alchy carbs. So what are some of your views and results? ive seen alot of guys go to alchy only to see them going back to race fuel not long after.

ALLRIGHTY THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was reading a topic on here about clutch baskets and how to modify the basket because of screws backing out or something, but anyway, i pulled the cover and yes its a complete hinson setup, but guess what else i found 2 lil allen wrench panhead style screws laying in the bottom. are these stock?...lol.. good idea to put screws in oil on clutch side to help balance at high rpm..lol.. well now im going to tear her apart and see whats behind door #2.... so ill let ya know. any bets on ideas wat the screws are from?..lol i did however find some good news...... i switched to geico..lol..no for real though, it means so far the guy hasnt lied to me yet about whats in the bike. one more question, how do you tell what carbs you have and how can you tell if they are made for alchy or not? he told me 110, but it didnt smell like 110 smelled like alchy and i used 114 and it smells like race fuel should?
  15. no noises. was sitting on the trailer strapped down. but i think it has something to do with the clutch. i checked it out today and put it in 6th with motor off and just tried to roll it and same results with clutch in or out, motor tryn 2 turn over but it acts like something on the clutch side is jammed and it will roll in gear with alot of pushing but the motor isnt turning over, like the cluthch is slipping. its supposed to have hinson clutch , so im thinking the basket blew, well hopeing... and i think it a 1 thru 4, due to had no problems as long as i was in lower gears. gonna pull the clutch cover and check it out. thanks
  16. i just bought this sweet banshee drag bike. stretched front and swingarm w/ wheelie bar, 421 ect. supposed to have straight cut gears and override tranny. my 1st override, 1st time bringing it off i screwed up n downshifted, didnt know about back load overload or whatever, anyway, i didnt realize what had happened, so after i taped on the end of the sfifter a few times it fell right into place and was back to running. then the next day, i was testn again, didnt down shift underload but it still hung up after 4th and it was like the motor was locked up, the kick was solid, no moving at all. i rocked it in 6th a few times to turn the motor over and tapped on the shifter and bam, back to new again. but im startn to wonder if it just has straight cut gears and has other problems due to i was coming back from a race and fired it up for someone to hear and she was purring then the motor just stopped, no loud clanks or noises and the kick is locked again. it seems like somebody may have put the cut gears in wrong and somethin is binding up. but im not sure. i guess the only way is to tear into the bottom end(tranny) and look for any unusual marks on gears or missing teeth. anyone have advice or had a similar problem? any and all help would be greatly needed and appreciated. thanks
