  1. My buddy thought he didnt need a helmet too. He was just riding up the road on the motorcycle he wasnt gonna do anything stupid. Well he has a cross on the side of the road where a car pulled out infront of him and he died on impact. Where a helment it only takes a minute to put it on...

but to adress your front end issue I bet the frames tweaked. My first banshee was lilke that

  2. Ive ran amsoil dominator which was a great oil. I ran castor 927 which was my favorite oil but it was a bit finkiky with tuning and as we all know very messy and expensive. Motul was alright I didnt really care for it. Original super m was good. Motorex was also very good right now ive been running blendzall ultra 2 and have no complaints the oil seems very thin like a synthetic but has the great smell of a castor.

  3. what everyone else said..

    advanced timing

porting for where you choose mose likely mx or agressive mx somethin like that

pipes-(pro circuits are great all around, fmf fattys, dmcs, paul turners, lrds) anything but cpi or shearer pretty much lol

CARBS AND FILTERS I see it time and time again these make or break a bike.. The wrong carbs make things hell I like pwk 28s because they work really good all around. I have a 2 into 1 its alright but I miss the topend pull of my pwks.

    -1 swingarm mabey?

    Skids?

TIRES! Get good tires personally I like a nice normal turf tamer.. Klaws are good knarlys, razrs, ohtsus are bad ass

suspension (spend the money get something quality)

Cooling system!!!! Cool heads, billet impellers, good fluid anything to keep it cool in tight trails

And after all of the above just remember to keep it jetted rights and play with gearing and buy a shit load of bling and stickers because we know that makes every bike faster of course! :jesterlaugh:

    that's my pc's....

  5. If you dont mind losing bottem try some 33pwks or 35pwks. I honestly don't think youll be happy with the 2 into 1 setup as everyone else said. If you want to keep some bottem end get more top I LOVED my pwk 28s. Mabey some oko 30s would be the ticket its all up to you bud.

  6. Like he said, above the powervalves give some impressive bottom and midrange while not killing the top-end. If you can find the RD350L/C Cylinders from UK or Greece(postage wasn't bad on some parts ordered recently) you can definitely save some cash. However, Harness, Stator, servos, jugs, CDI, regulator/rectifier(if you run battery) would get expensive. Lots of the electrical components are going bad, and even harder to source these items. I used to own an RZ banshee, and am building a DT200R blaster(YPVS basically same as banshee set-up) and have had to get doubles on the parts. I'm even currently trying to build my own CDI and Servo(based off R/C car servo) to power the blaster because I need the back-up. Just something to think about, you can always get the more expensive parts to run the electrical side of things. However, it is important to remember any YPVS related machines manufactured by Yamaha are not easy/cheap to find parts for. I know this is my first post, and been out of the banshee scene for a while. Just wanted to chime in. Anyone know if GRR racing is still around?

If by GRR you mean grand river racing I think so but I think theyre more drag racing orriented, not my scene

  7. What option do you suggest instead? I'd love to do the serval cat because thats exactly what I want. A strong motor that rips arms off on topend with a user friendly power that can still be trail ridable. I figured if I could get the rz parts cheap enough itd be cool just because its different and the pv's would help alot.

  8. If you have the factory service manual, it will give a tooth count of every gear in the exploded tranny diagram. I don't know about a clymers manual as I don't use one. Or go to cheapcycleparts.com, go to the OEM parts section, input your info, go to the transmission picture and the bill of materials will have the tooth count of each gear.

Thank you for the picture. I didn't see the tooth count ill have to look around again.

  9. They make kits for the front ends. Called snomoshee's or something. You can also put ice screws in the rear tires to help, but banshee's suck ass in anything more that about 8" of snow no matter what you do. Riding lakes is a blast if there's just a slight covering, you can stub your tires too if you want to ice drag. I usually just park mine in the winter. Maybe take it on the lake a few times. I just know how much ATV's fuck up snowmobile trails in the winter and I ride sleds so I rarely take mine on the trails

Dont gotta worry about snowmobile trails here, not many people have any. I thought about puttin screws in the tires but theyll rip out on the pavement to easily I think.

  10. Also what about puttin some ski's on the front? Just more or less ratchet strapping them to the front tires with some custom brackets so the straps dont drag or makin some mounts for my hubs. I didn't think of it until now but mabey theres a way I can get a snowmobile track in half and wrap it around both back tires and secure it?

  11. Well lookin to have my banshee goin a little before winter and will be doin alot of ridin in the snow I was wonderin what kind of setup you guys were runnin. I thought about gettin pro wedges but I ride on the roads some to get from place to place and dont want to totally destroy them..

  12. How much will the pipe plugs and stud extenders run? Will there ever be a kit including a coresponding head, domes, pistons, cylinders, pipe plugs, stud extenders ect? I think it'd make a hit and be a bit easier on people with less knowledge. (Including myself im not saying im an expert or the smartest with these things in anyway)
