I would go 28's if you dont think your gonna build anymore, or 35's if you think your gonna do more work. 33pwks are kinda a bastard carb.
Alright. What do you mean they're a bastard carb though?
what kind of porting, and what kind of riding? you more favorable to ride bottom end-mid, or always trying to rev it out and keep it pinned allot? larger carbs will have some more topend, but your motor will only flow so muc, and more than that is just a waste, and makes the bottom end near impossible to tune right. anywhere from 28-33 can make you happy in the end, but with 220psi- i don't think you are going to be doing much topend overrev, and will probably like a 28, mabey 30. just to give you an example, i'm running lectron 30's right now on my stock stroke and pro-circuits, which is a bit over-carbed, but will be more than enough for the 4mill i'm building.
I'm not sure what kind of porting. Last time I seen it was right after I got the bike and pulled the motor to repair a crank seal, and honestly at the time I didn't know what I was looking at, but I could tell it was definitely cleaned up.
Riding…
Mostly trail -->mid/high rpm...
… some pit riding where I keep it pinned. I try to keep it pinned as much as possible but my riding conditions/spots don't always allow me to.
I would love some more mid range power without sacrificing top end. Top end is what I love about this bike of course.
Who ported your juggs?
I have no idea honestly. I bought the bike like this.

Sounds a little lean in my opinion. Are you familiar with reading plugs?
Search plug chop
That's the only way to know for sure.
You drive a mk3 VW I'm assuming?
Where you from?

Mods:
No lid
foam folter
vforce 2's
some port work
cool head
220lbs compression (110 oct)
330 mains
t-5's
…I'm probably forgetting something
I mostly do trail and pit riding.
I was thinking of going with something like 32mm Pwk's.
Any suggestions?
What differences would I notice with 35's vs 32's?? Top end?

They look a little loose in the first couple pics.
I'm looking for something like a black gripper cover.
Maybe something a little different than the standard gripper material everyone sells.

Still looking for some decent trail techs
-
Anybody got one?
I was about to buy a PRM one new but I figured I'd check here.
I also need one for a blaster
Pm me if you have either one.

i like the carbon fiber tank cover. where did you get it?
It was on my bike when I got it, but I believe it's a fullbore piece. I seen them on eBay for like $100.

I have the tusk bulbs also but still want trail techs just cause they look way better.
Do the trail techs use the stock bulbs so I can still use the tusk bulbs?

I've got the mushroom ground off, I just need a tiny and powerful magnet.
-
I switch to Engine Ice (it's like $20 a bottle) and my temp now rarely goes over 160.
With regular coolant 50/50 I was seeing 200.
It's good shit.
-
Nah man. I have faith I can get this thing out in 5 minutes with the right tool.
I'm just looking for some advice from someone who has done it.
-
I bought a Blaster for $200 for my g/f.
So it seems the pushrods and bearing welded themselves together, and the side of the pushrod that comes in contact with the push lever assembly has mushroomed and I can't slide it out.
I have the motor out and I'm trying to get away with not splitting the case so she can be riding this thing by the weekend.
I've tried a dremel to grind the mushroom off but it's in there about 3.5" deep and I can't find any attachment that will get in there that deep.
My next plan of action is a series of rill bits.
Anyone have any tricks for this?
