  1. fixed!!!! thank god didnt need to spend anymore money ............my nephew had a good idea to put her up on a milk crate and run her a while...well i did yesterday after almost 10 minutes idling in 1st gear and pulling in the clutch again and again she finally started working yeah baby!!!!!!

  2. x2.

My stock port trail Banshee (T5s, shaved head, +5 timing, 350 mains, K&N, no lid) would beat a bolt on YFZ by a ton on pavement. It'd hand their asses to them in dirt if we ran far enough as well (bad spinning out of the hole).

x3..... if its a 1/4 mile u guys are running then a 15 front will probably do it......we race usually between 1/8 and 1/4

  3. porting will give u the most gains when done right.... if u dont mind the expense of racegas go down to 15cc or 16cc domes gives u a killer punch out of the hole and gain u a bike length, in the long run shee done right should have high compression, advanced timing, good porting, and a larger carb to feed the new power.....then u will smoke most heavily modded 4 pokers mine does but.........................................theres always gonna be somebody faster!

  4. Mine does the samething. Especially when it's not fully warmed up. I have to throttle it when goin in first so that it will not kill it. After I run it thourgh the gears it's fine. My accuator arrow lines up perfect on the case too.

im looking for a miracle when i ride her.....just never felt like there was no clutch at all before

how cold was it? it could be just as simple as the tranny fluid was cold and if it is a thicker oil then it's going to grap ALOT harder.....causing it to stall your bike sometimes. it could also be that the clutch has not been rolled over into the fluid recently so it could be that your clutch is dry and it was too dry until you get more fluid up on it....

i let her warm up for 5 minutes or more then after i shut her down i was pushing bike in gear with clutch and then without feels the same.......i dont know ive owned the bike 11 years i seen it take a little while for clutch to warm up but nothing like this then again dont think shee ever sat that long either.........im gonna pull my paddles off and throw on my holeshots and try her and pray dont need any more problems!

  6. bike has been in shed for 4 months.... K&G clutch has 5 rides on it bike has a Hinson basket, started bike after letting her warm up I put her in 1st gear she jerked then stalled after that I tried to adjust clutch cable on perch with 0 results...clutch lever feels normal tranny fluid looked good so did level clutch is not holding at all I appreciate any help thanks!

  7. Im running 16cc domes in my cool head ive been using them for 9 years, my bike is ported hot rod crank trued and welded and my timing advanced 5 degrees im using 28 PWKs with my setup i use 116 octane in a pinch ive used 113, my bike has been thru 4 top ends over 9 years with this setup and never blew her up!. I think my compression is a little over 200lbs with a stock setup i dont advise 16cc domes even if u could get away with it wouldnt be worth spending all that money on racegas i would run at 180lb what u have and just mix 1 gallon of 113 to 3 gallons of 93 u will be fine

  8. I will never use Sunoco again, I ran VP C12 forever, let my local shop convince me to use sunoco from them (sponsorship stuff)after the race the bike sat for 2 weeks, maby 3, When i went to start it up for the next race it wouldnt start. Come to find out the whole bowl of both carbs, was completely full of a jell type stuff. Something reacted very badly with that fuel. But i never had a problem with any other type of fuel.

yup its been a while since it happen to me but reading your post reminded me exactly what happen........when i was putting the gas in with a screened funnel the funnel glogged up as if something solid stopped the flow then it slowly drained in after i could see a thick clear liquid on screen so i wiped it with my finger and could not believe it had no smell seemed to be water that jelled up and almost completely stopped the flow when pouring the gas from can thru funnel into bikes tank. I never bought racegas from that speed shop again but i have used sunoco racegas from other vendors without any problems so my advice would be to always use a funnel with a screen

  11. I have used tons of Sunoco and VP and i never had any bad VP racegas, one time i bought some Sunoco from a local speed shop who stores the gas in drums in and old enclosed trailer, i use a funnel with a screen in it when i was filling tank my funnel clogged up then started going in so when the funnel emptied i expected to see some debri in there NOTHING but clear liquid i put my finger in and smelled was water so i dumped out hole batch!

  12. U did the right thing I would have been pissed off if it was my truck...........but u should have waited till after cops were gone no need to donate more ATV money to the cops they get plenty!!!!!!!!!!!...................im sure atleast half the people on this forum have gotten a ticket or two on ATVs. We are treated like shit cause we ride ATVs.........cost enough money as is for this sport!!!!
