  1. Ya man I have 320s in my carbs right now and all I have is t5s and kn filter. but it is like 20 degrees out i was a little surprised that it ran pretty good at that jet. I thought I would be rich but she seems to run pretty good
  2. no where I ride the highest elevation is maybe 1500feet
  3. I ordered an adjustable timing plate but havnt installed it yet. I have a nology coil installed also. Curious if the nology coil effects timing at all and if I should use different octane fuel. I am using 91 right now because its the easiest to get around here. Also if I install the timing plate and put it to +4 what kind of octane should I run. Would I be ok with 91? My compression was 125 before I installed the coil.
  4. Where should I start looking for an intake leak? I did a leak down test earlier this summer and I dont remember exactly what it was. I think I lost a few lbs in 6mins. Was like 2 or 3 lbs i lost. Im going to do another leakdown test to figure out the exact numbers but where would I start addressing the leak if it happens to be bad. I know my intake boots have little hairline cracks which i will be replacing but it doesnt look like those are going through the boot

  9. Ya I put some in a while back and it seems like it got worse. I used BR9ES plugs though cuz thats all I had. Im gonna go get some new plugs here and maybe some new jets. maybe i will replace my pilot jets
  10. Hey guys, Got a 96 Banshee. Snorkle removed and k&n air filter. running 220 main. During idle or light throttle it makes a weird Chirping / backfire?? sound from the right exhaust. About as best as I can explain the noise lol. Im gonna try to get a video of it tomorrow. But it will do it idling but not too often. Mostly when I lightly feather the throttle. Talking like 1/4 throttle. And its not consistant either. When it does it it almost seems like a extra puff of exhaust blows out a little harder...but hard to really tell as I dont really get much for smoke. I been playing with the air screw and it seems like it does it less when its in more rather then out. But was thinking maybe an air leak possibly? Any Ideas would be appreciated!! Thanks much.

  13. Anymore people get there new R-2s and tested them out yet? Curious to hear some more reviews about them. maybe some trail reviews on them. I wont be riding dunes, just mostly trails and frozen rivers/lakes. So looking for a good pipe for trail but something that still has a decent top for the winter riding I

  15. Have completely stock bike except for K&N filter and no snorkel. Running about 1000ft above sea level. And right now its about 60 during the day. But Im sure will be in the 50s on any given day for another month. Live in minnesota. But I put in 260 main jets right now....Biggest I had lol. But i am thinking that would be too rich...maybe like 240? What you guys think

  17. alright cool thanks man also the float area cover that comes off with 4 screws. Is the one with the little jet in there the one for the carb with the choke??? I am positive i didnt mix them up but for some reason the one with the jet was on the carb without the choke. Just want to make sure I got them right.
  18. Hey guys, Just got in couple used carbs that have tors removed on it. Took them apart and cleaned them a little bit. But got a couple questions. First what does this screw do on the left? I took it out and cleaned everything up but curious on how I should know how far to screw it in. and then this would be the air/fuel mixture screw right? which I would turn all the way in and then turn out about 1 1/2 turns and just go from there? my machine is stock besides a k and n air filter Thanks guys
  19. from what i have read around here i think 100 for the compression test is a little low but i have also heard that you really should make sure you have a good compression tester or it could very well read much lower psi then it really is
  20. Also looks like I might be in the market for some stock carbs too previous owner fucked up the pilot jet and i cant get it out.
  21. well took my carb apart. doesnt look dirty on the inside which was nice but i did notice one of the carbs didnt even bottom out so i know they werent very sinc at all. and then after taking out the jets and cleaning them i noticed they were stock jets. 200main and looked like 25pilot jets. which there is a k&n filter so i should probably buy a few more jets. But now for the bad part...on one of the carbs i wasnt able to get the pilot jet out. I dont think the kid i bought this from had any idea how to use a screw driver. or to properly tighten anything lol. My jet was all stripped out...not the threads but the notch where i would put the screw driver in was actually gone....so the top of the jet was almost smooth. any ideas on how to get this jet out? gonna have to drill it out or something??? i have no idea lol.

  23. well got the carbs out! havnt looked at them yet. there just sitting on the bench right now. should be able to tear them apart later today Wheres a good place to get some accessories? I need a new dipstick....this one ended up being cross threaded badly and I wanna get a crossover tube so I can get rid of the boost bottle and I since I have them off I might as well remove the tors system
  24. lol thats why I had to stop. I figured everyone would just look at the post and move on! I think I might toss a UNI filter on there but we will see. Looking at removing the tors system to make things easier and then ill get rid of that boost bottle and go from there. And possiably next weekend I should be able to get a good compression tester. This guy really liked to lube shit up though thats for sure....seems like theres greese everywhere on this thing lol
