Alright I took her out today, first time riding it here in Arizona. Im from Seattle. Way rockier than I thought, my 20" rears are way to small, should of bought 22's DAMN> Cant lower the pressure anymore cuz that will bring my closer to the ground. Rear skid plates hits alot of rocks. I still cant find where the vent tube goes (FIRST PIC TOP OF POST) If someone could snap a shot that would be cool. The quad ran Great, Very Ping-y and full of power. I was looking it over when i got home and I noticed the Intake boot (or w/e its called) is ripped! Can i just put some black silocone gasket maker stuff on it for now? -
My pipes are all rusty from going to the Dunes and not cleaning them after i guess. Would header wrap increase power at all on a Shee? (It would cover up the shit chrome and rust too) Or should i get them coated? Dont really wanna buy new ones, mine are fine just ugly. Thanks

More easy questions for you. Do I got a desert tank? I notice most grills screw in from the side, and my tank goes over where the screws would be. My Shee smokes pretty good.... Im mixin at 40:1 sound good? The damn kickstarter jingles like crazy while its running.... It drives me nuts.... is it just worn out and need replaced? And the kick starter slips past the stop and allows me to kick it all the way down. I was cleanin her up ... and found this. Vent tube or something... where does this go??? Thanks guys, I just posted some pics of my Shee comment away

havasu replied to havasu's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
hahaha good to know. Whats drain/fill on the trans oil 1.5 qts? Is type f the same as automobile type f? Just fired her up today in AZ (Im from WA) Shee loads up alittle untill about 40% throttle, then cracks open. I think i have to check the elevation differences and go from there. Thanks ALOT for the help guys. -
kill switch problem, oil , shift lever, air box questions
havasu replied to havasu's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Thanks for the welcome and the comments guys. ..... but who said anything about tranny oil? haha i was asking about Engine oil. I read the big article on trans fluid, it was good. Do they make release shut offs for quads? like a jet ski, when you fly off it kills the engine? I bought new brake pads...... Do the calipers push in or spin in?? and..... Before i snap my legs off, what are some good inexpensive nerf bars. Cheaper the better .... Im a function, over fashion guy -
Hey im new to the site and new to the Banshee world (finally) The OFF / Run switch doesn't work. Runs when its in off position too, Simple as needing a new switch? Can i wire in a toggle switch? Engine oil (not mixture oil) Alittle low on engine oil, what kind of oil to use? Has a K&N with no airbox top. Should I run a prefilter (outter screen) or buy a top piece to the air box? AND.... it has a cheesy worn down aluminum foot shift lever, Should I buy a stock replacement or get a roll design lever Thanks ..... im postin some pics tomorrow. Ive got some exhaust questions in the exhaust forums too
-
Hey! Im new to the forum. Ive got a 95 banshee with pipes. The factory exhaust hangers broke. Should i just replace them with factory style or are there better ones?? And the connector between the pipes and the mufflers are blown out. Where do i buy the good stainless exhaust connectors, and what are they called? Thanks!!
